Keep warm & dry Emma .it rained all night here couldnt get to sleep .but its brighter today thank goodness .are you ready for Christmas only 5weeks off now ..i will be dusting my decorations I have bought a couple of meercats for outside the front door [not real] they light up .have enough of other lights .so not buying anymore this year .have some tree decorations .over 30yrs old ..nearly as old as me

Hi all

I visited my daughter yesterday and although in a lot of pain she was relatively happy.

Ironically, she has an appointment to see another Specialist on Wednesday to find out when an operation can be done on her shoulder! Even if she isn't out of hospital, the Specialist's rooms are on the first floor of the hospital she is in, so she still may be able to see him.

Weather still nice and mild here and this year we have reached our average annual rainfall. It makes up for the previous twenty years of below average falls :-)

Marion, yes it was appendicitis but until I see her later this morning I'm not sure whether it had burst or was just infected. :-(

Hello all

I've not posted recently as there has been no real news.

However, today, I got a phone from my daughter asking about the symptoms of appendicitis. She was in severe stomach pain.

I advised her to go to A & E at the local hospital. Her partner phoned us a few hours ago to say that she was in hospital waiting to see a surgeon.

Then a further phone call from him to say that she was to undergo surgery either tonight or first thing tomorrow (Sunday)

She has private medical cover so is in the private hospital co-located with the public one.

I hope to see her first thing tomorrow. OH has a concert with her choir which she can't get out off, but will see her later after the concert has finished.

Hi everyone

Yes i am feeling alot better thank you. Still got cough tho.
I have been to Kew yesterday,then went to Teri,helping her sort things out for her kitchen done.today
How she is going to have her freezer,fridge,cooker,washer,tumble dryer all in her frontroom for about 10 days i dont know.She only got a very small frontroom.She hasnt a spare room to put them into.I am going over again next week to help her put all the other things in boxes then she has to find where to put them.

I went to see twins today. Hope you like new picture with they brother Arron.

Well trying to check notes and my emails etc.As off to Kew tomorrow as had a great day Yesterday.And need to look up few more bits,as wont have time next week with being over at Teris again for few days.
