Hazel, I'm sorry to hear about the twins. I hope that they are progressing well.

All the talk about snow is making me feel a bit homesick :-(

We have just come through another few days of 34c weather. Hopefully it will be cooler today as we want to go into town to buy some clothes..

As we are now well into the Silly Season of Shopping we'll have to get in early to get a parking space.

Hi all.

Not been adding much these days as things are slow,sometimes GR taking too long and other times it's this old thing lol.
This is a desktop butI'm getting a laptop soon.spent hours looking for a desk that is suitable.Waiting on delivery of one any day. Wanted one on casters as it site infront of a cupboard and also wanted one with a doors....to hide all my clutter lol.

Hope the twins are better now.I know of a few babies children who have been taken in with Bronchiolitis in recent years. We never heard of so much years ago....did we?

We have some snow not much and I hope it stays that way.

Hi all just popped on here for awhile as got loan of a laptop for awhile. I am over at Duanes{son}as was called over as twins are in hospital so had to come and help look after Arron, Twins have Bronchiolitis have been in hospital for few days.Dont know when they be home yet. But other nan is coming to take over Tuesday as i have to go to Teris to workmen sit while she is at the hospital about her MS. Then i will be going home.

Dolly get rid of the cold before Xmas, hope you feel better soon.
Barbra had a fall of snow here last night but not much and now
nothing, son has snow in Elgin and lying, he is coming down to
Aberdeen tomorrow so hope the Glens of Foundland are Ok.

Hello everyone, I won't stay long as I don't want to spread my germs. I am having to check my PC as hubby has got me a new one and have to check everything has been transfered to it, before he clears the old one of all my info.
I have got the lurgy, a chest infection and a stinking head cold! I can't stop coughing and sneezing, so tons of tissues and asthma puffers, must admit my asthma is worse, but I will survive lol.
I hope you all have a fab weekend, I will come and chat once I feel a bit better.

Hello all

very hot today with more of the same forecast for the next few days together with strong winds. I hate oz summers but at least we are not experiencing the storms that are happening in the Eastern States.

Asked for a quote on having some electrical work done at home, including the fitting of a Residual Current detector. We already have one fitted but now the legislation has changed requiring two to be fitted.

As with our luck there is no room on the current meter board to have the second one fitted, therefore require a whole board. $1644.00 to have the work done which also includes two smoke detectors being installed.

Luckily I received a small payout from a UK superannuation scheme which I had forgotten about until a few years ago. It was only earlier this year that we had to spend $1500.00 on a new hot water heater :-|

I am so looking forward to our holiday next February

Be very careful, Emma, people have been mugged for their fottwwear!! ;-)

important new SLIPPERS. As you know I love happy feet
and at present moi is modelling white bootees with tartan trim.
Glam don't ya think? must admit I splashed out on more than

Hi Barbra,Emma,Dolly,Joan and everyone else.

Well i have been writing christmas cards out today over 40 so far,plus 5 birthday cards,new baby boy card. I have to get kids,grand kids,my sister and best friend cards yet. Got few overseas ones to post tomorrow. So i have writers cramp now. Hands are killing me.

But i also cleaned my oven today as i have sold it as i am having Teri's old gas cooker.I have a lec one and i only like cooking with gas.Thats coming tomorrow night.Taking my one to lady who needs it bad.Got 5 children and no cooker for last 8 wks.

Lady came with boxes for my things to be packed but only 3 small ones,i have a big bookshelf full.So think i will be getting Teri to bring some of hers over.

Twins are alot better now.Having they feeds without being sick afterwards. Which is good.

Well putting dinner on now.Oh its been very windy,wet and cold here today.This morning it look like snow

Well it was morning when I logged on but son took over
lappy to set up iphone for OH.
Like you Barbra weather terrible but am cosy indoors.
