Finally managed to watch......The Lion king yesterday lol.
Have never been able to watch it right through as It was usually on for wee ones.I've seen bits of it since it first came out all those years ago.
My grandaughter lent it to me lol, she be two in March.

I kept an eye on my spend yesterday spent £50,If i had gone for the £60 or over would have got 10p per litre off petrol...you could go on and on 'saving' lol

I do most of mine in tesco but go to morrisons if i dont need a lot.

Just popped on here befor i go out. Yes sunny but very cold here. Snow almost gone now.

Going to a family history group later. Got to get bit of shopping as well.

I am over at Teris tomorrow got to pick Caitlin up from school at 1.30 at got a afternoon/eveing meeting teachers. Dont think they should be closed in the day tho. Teri will be at her course she dont come out until 2.30. Then i be staying the night, Then if i am up to it be going to TNA at Kew.
Then Firday meeting a lady i met at coffee morning in library last week,to help her start her family tree.

Throat and ears still playing up but its my sinus thats maling them hurt.

Hello all

Back safely from our Albany trip. We didn't escape the heat down there as we thought we would...still in the high 30's.

The trip turned out to be more expensive than we had planned. We went in OH's car and the muffler (exhaust) developed a crack. Sounded just like a supercharged sportscar. Because the car is over ten years old, no garage kept the exhaust in stock so we had to wait a few days to get it fixed. Cost $400.00 :-(

The camp where OH stayed on the Saturday was a complete revelation to me. It was at the old quarantine station, which I never knew existed. A beautiful setting. Below is a link for anyone interested.

One funny thing happened as we walked around the camp. I saw an old building next to the old isolation hospital and had a look in. No windows, so was a bit gloomy. An old wash hand basin was in the corner and in the centre was what I at thought first was a bed. A closer inspection showed grooves on the 'base of the bed running to a hole in the centre.

I'd managed to find the old mortuary!! OH was out of there like a shot!

We are now busy preparing for our major trip to Adelaide and back via sea to Fremantle. We head off next Wednesday morning at 7.00am to catch the train from Perth to Adelaide.

Hazel, glad to hear that the twins now appear to be doing well.

Hi Barbra and everyone.else

Making most of my day to myself. Buts it feels funny not having any kids about. But not doing much today just doing some look ups for some friends.

It was nice and sunny this morning now very cloudy, Yes and also very cold, no snow yet.

Twins are doing very well at the moment. gone up to over 11lbs now.

Tomorrow going to do some sorting out. If i havent used it i am going to get rid.

Got stew out freezer that i made last week for my dinner.
