Hazel, I'm sorry to hear about the twins. I hope that they are progressing well.

All the talk about snow is making me feel a bit homesick :-(

We have just come through another few days of 34c weather. Hopefully it will be cooler today as we want to go into town to buy some clothes..

As we are now well into the Silly Season of Shopping we'll have to get in early to get a parking space.

Allan .it looks nice over the mountains & hills .but very cold .severe frost tonight & tuesday .& more snow later in the week . you folk in oz will have Turkey & sunshine on Christmas Day .cant be bad :-D

Turkey is not really regarded as a festive dish. Ham and seafood are the most consumed foods over the Christmas/New Year period. This year as there is the distinct possibility that there will only be OH amd myself for Christmas lunch, we may buy a turkey hindquarter.

Neither of the children like turkey although they do enjoy chicken.

If the weather is hot we will cook outside using the Webber Kettle :-)

A lot of people seem to be coming back .as Ozy life not for them,you & your family have lived the dream but you could always still have a holiday* mates rates* you know that, night

Hi everyone.

Got sons laptop for the day. But havent been able to get on here for few hours.as ok earlier this morning.

Well twins are back home agisn. Still poorly but no more hospital can do for them Just got to get better by themselves. As the doctors said cant give them anything for it.

Well i am still workmen sitting at my daughters.they have layed new floor {conceret} so cant go in and close the windows or put heating on.They keep leaving frontdoor open.My daughter dont have a door on frontroom and its right next to frontdoor.

Son picked up at 3am this morning by taxi to Aberdeen Airport from
Elgin, will hear from him when he gets there.

Very icy out today and ofcourse cold, am staying indoors also.

windy by the time we came out of surgery, out this afternoon

Hi all

Twins were rushed to hospital again as they couldnt breath in the night. On oxygen now and being tube feed.Mum and dad were told that hospital hasnt got any ward they can be put on so may have to go to another hospital which could be anywhere in the country. My son has just phoned and said a ward has been found for them in the hospital so will be going up to it about 7pm. So now just got to wait to see how they get on from now.

Sorry to hear about the twins set-back, Hazel. It must be a worrying time for you.

Well, the Chrismas madness has started. Shops not really packed but all carparks ar absolutely full from about 0830 onwards. We've bought very few presents this year, Scrooges that we are!

We will put the tree up sometime next week after the elctrical work has been done.
