Good morning .having problems with GR

morning all just back from A*d*, complained to store manager
about how they can justify asking £3.14 for a box of cereal and
T*s*o charges £2. Usual rubbish about special offers so reminded him
they were supposed to be the cheapest of all he said they were on
certain items, I informed him in my opinion they gave the impression
in all items.
Rant over~~~~~~~~~~~ :-D

Hi all just popping in be for i go over to Teri for the weekend

My son Duane is coming over this way so going to pick me up save me getting the 3 buses over there.

Will not be on here until Sunday now as dont have computer that works very well over there.

Got to pick Caitlin up from school as Teri is off to a wedding today.Then Saturday night i have Arron.I dont feel like doing it as got this cold.Got to get somemore tablets for it.

T**C* had agreat deal th either week. I pkt £1 or 2pkt for £2 :-0. I thought that was a great bargain lol.
You got to have a brain for figures to work out deals. I managed that one :-P lol

I'm waiting on the man coming to fit a blind...waited in last week for him to come. He did come in the right slot. Same today between 9-12. I hoped he would be early. I hate hanging about.

Morning Barbra, Joan, Emma, Hazel, Mario, Allan and anyone else looking in I may have missed, I hope you're all well?

I have been a busy girly, spent a couple of days with my gorgeous daughter Emma and my grandchildren who I haven't seen for nearly 10 months, we managed to drive to Coningsby, Lincoln, took us 4 hours but I managed to sit for a fair time without becoming too stiff, we stopped a couple of times or I'd have been unable to get out of the car.
We( hubby and me) had a smashing time.
My son in law is on his 4th trip to a war zone, he should be back on the 28th Nov which is the day before their wedding anniversary, I hope he gets back safely and on time.
It was so lovely to see my grandchildren, Sophie is 14 and Liam 8, they have both grown up so much in the last year, I am a shorty but Soph is way above me in height and Liam is up to my chin, they take after there dad who is well over 6 ft.
I may get to see them over the Christmas period, Emma isn't sure yet how much time she gets off from her job, she works with people aged 18-65 with autism and aspergers, she has a lovely time and adores her work, I do worry about her as some of them can be a bit agressive, Emma herself has brittle bones and manages to keep healthy, she hasn't broken a single bone now for a good few years( tempting fate here) she has had the odd broken rib, but nothing very major, her last break was her back in I think it was 2008, to look at her you'd see nothing wrong with her.
I am so proud of her, she manages so well when her hubby is away, and manages to talk to the kids when they ask questions about war zones, like, is he killing anyone :-0 Soph has especially been very interested in whats happening where her dad is.
I hope it isn't another 10 months until I see her again, I talk to her all the time but seeing them is so much better :-D

Children do grow up fast .my neice has a little girl she will be three end of november .she goes to nursery school & is a real chatterbox talk to her on the phone .will be seeing them shortly as going down to lancs in a couple of weeks .to see the family ,A nice bright day here .Take Care Barbra x ;-)

Been sorting old family history magazines out this morning as going to family history group this afternoon.Dont like putting them in the bin. So they can have them.

Still got bit of a cold just cant get rid of it.Also got the cough now :-(

Its sunny here today so far. Hope it stays dry dont want to take brolly with me.

Hi everyone

Well i didnt feel too bad this morning so Teri(daughter)came over we went done bit of xmas shopping(well she did) then we went had some lunch.Well cold and cough started coimg out again. :-(

So i am now at home in bed wrapped up warm with hot drink of honey and lemon. I was to go to a play tonight paid £10 for ticket as well. But just not up to it. And dont know anyone who can make use to the ticket..

Marion i have tried the vic thing in pass has worked but not everytime. Got it rubbed in chest.
