Hi Joan yes parts of Glasgow was pretty bad.
Would have been on earlier but got fed up waiting for things to load.

Morning Barbra, Marion, Joan, Emma, Allan, Hazel and anyone else looking in.

It's a beautiful morning here but chilly in the breeze, its turned very autumn like. I see my lovely silver birch is turning yellow on the leaves, I had the tree for my 50th which was only 4 years ago, the tree is already 20ft plus high, its so lovely, its the only tree I have apart from fur trees that I have between me and next door.

Hi all.

I've got about 8 silver birches in the garden......4 are in tubs though .

when we moved here 26 yr ago there were lots of trees but as the years have gone it we took them down. Rowan trees and holly about 4 ft from the house. The roots were all heading to the houseAs well as other ones.
People dont think when they plant little trees they soon turn BIG.

Have a nice time in London Dolly.

We should have a mini meet in Aberdeen sometime.

It was nice and sunny and warm today.

Went to the house where mum and all us kids (10 of us)born.
Put something that mum likes at back of the house where the cannel runs along.
Then popped to LMA as its just up the road.
Feelin sad, but bit better then i did earlier in the week.

A,lovely sunny Day again will be out in the garden .a couple of bushes have to come out & replanted .got quite a bit done yesterday .get .this the gardener came .hmm. & cut back .a lot of bushes .& today he is cutting hedges .have taken cuttings off Rhododendrons` .to hopefully plant somewhere else in the garden,.hope you are okay .lets make the most of this lovely day .[winter draws on ] :-D Bye for now Barbra xx~~~~~Rory

Just a quick visit. Typical! I got thr reticulation working to automatically water the garden on the two days we are allowed to useit (Wed and Sat) and the rain has moved in again.

Oh well! I'll set the control to rain and think of the money I am saving.

I do hope that everyone is well.

It's lovely here today but rain forcast Fri Sat sun.
I'm heading out to the garden soon,cut back a few things while its dry.
Not looking good for our plans with the boys. at least they can empty ou the tatties they planted and I'll make them chips.Dont usually have 'real'chips but since it's their home grown ones we will.
The wee one(5), last year said they werent chips,he had never seen potatoes being made into chips. his chips come in a box from McD lol

Barbra Yes it was a better day for me.
I have the weekend to myself for the first time in weeks, Normally with my daughter and grand daughter but they busy this weekend.
But my son phoned me to see if i can have my grandson for the night. And i said no, Boy i felt guilty but i have to learn to say no to them more.

I love having the grand kids but i need some weekends to my self.

Good news about your knee Emma,you strutt your stuff to your hearts content lol.

Barbara ...looks like our bulb planting will be on hold. One of my grandsons has been sick all night and a dose of the squits now too.Plus rain is forcast over the weekend :-( Will need to see if the other one comes down with it,or his parents. They are going to a wedding thats why we are having the boys.

Hazel...You enjoy time to yourself. It's great having the kids but at the same time you have a life too lol.

Havent heard the latest o the miners ,how sad.
