Morning Barbra and Everyone, I hope everyone feels better then I do today?

It rained ALL day yesterday, all night and is looking pretty wet out of my windows today, so I have left the curtains drawn, I know we desperately need the rain for the gardens but I I cannot stand wet dull days it makes me really depressed, I have that winter SAD thing, its horrible. :-(

I know when it's horrible wet weather before I get out of bed because I ache all over from the arthritis.

Have a lovely day today all of you, no matter what the weather is like.

Hello all,

Finally, rain has arrived and is forecast for the rest of the week. We need good heavy falls to make any impact on the Dams, but from a personal point of view, at least no matter how little falls we don't have to water the garden!

Joan, I've not gone back over the recent threads but I gather that your Potting Shed has now arrived and been put together?

Morning Barbra and everyone, Marion I have tried cider vinegar its absolutely vile I can't drink it.
Emma I hope you get some help from the rheumatologist, mines pretty rubbish I am fed up with her, she doesn't seem to understand how difficult and painful arthritis is.

Love the saga of the potting shed. :-)

Hi Barbara, Marion, Allan, Joan, Emma and Dolly and anyone else who pops on here...

I just popped in to say re Cider Vinegar ...Dolly, how about honeygar or something like that, it is cider vinegar with honey in it.... I am not too hot on cider vinegar either... most of it has stayed in the bottle..

My dad used to wear a copper wrist band for his arthritis. His sister's hands were almost folded they were so bad... she was such a love and always laughing but it must have been very painful for her. As a child I would want to brush and comb her hair because it looked so hard for her to do. Hope your knee is behaving Emma?

Cheers Persie

Good whatever to you! I lose all track of time on these threads. Terrible!

I'll blame my age, not the couple of glasses of red :-D

Morning all,

Allan it's definately the Red. :-D

Dolly I have a lovely rheumatologist he is so helpful and he is open
to me sugesting a reduction in my meds. It's like a standing joke between
us, so yesterday I won round one for a reduction and I compromised with
him on another.

Persie knee is coming along fine but right knee is playing up, he ho,I also
have problems some days trying to brush my hair as hands are also twisted.
You should see how I use puter, I'm slower but I get there.

Hi all.

Have any of you tried ...pernation gel, for aches and pains?
It's made from mussel extract,so you cant use if seafood doesnt agree with you.
Google and and you'll see what it does etc. I bought it in the chemist its about £8 for a tube, but it really helped my frozen shoulder and OH's ocasionally wonky knee.

If you look at the reviews it will give you an idea.
not sure if Dr would prescribe it,but you could ask anyway before you try it.
