I know you can't believe all you read in the paper but I have seen that Rebecca complained to S Cowell about Cher's tantrums, apparently she is not nice to the other contestants and the judges had a word with her about her behaviour. I also read that until Saturday it was to be as dermot had said, that the semifinal result would be determined by public vote only. On Saturday evening they decided that it wouldn't and the result would be decided by the judges in a sing off. I wonder why, did they want all young people in the final?

Personally I am fed up with the way cher turns on the water works every week. I know she is only 17 but if she can't cope with the thought of losing she should not have entered. I don't think her voice is that amazing anyway.

Mary has apparently been approached by M&S to be a plus size model.

I agree Rita. I said at the judges house stage that they should ask Cher to come back next year.
I wonder if they sent Mary home because they didn't want an ugly tantrum from Cher on live TV?

Hope someone signs Mary up....think she will appeal to the same sort of people who have bought Subos album....

I didn`t like the way Danni and Simon made it sound like they saved Cher because she was vunerable and couldn`t cope if she was kicked off..... isn`t it meant to be singing competition.?

Hats off to Mary she was very dignified throughout, no tears or pleading, just took it on the chin.....

Agree think Cher will come 4th in final, as for the other 3.....if this board is anything to go by then Matt should win.

I think hes amazing ,and though I usually like the gruffer/throaty male voices like Rod Stewart , I just love Matts voice, i think he can sing anything and will appeal to all ages...

Tough on Mary but she gave it her best shot. I think Cher will probably be the first one off in the final. I' m completely torn between Matt and Rebecca and both are good enough to win. One Direction will get massive support from young girls

Cher's facial expressions, not only when singing but when being interviewed dont do nothing to endear her to the public, she comes across as an aggressive stroppy teenager with attitude.

Rebecca may have a dull personality/performance but that didn't stop Leona Lewis from making millions

Thought Matt was amazing tonight....sore throat or not...

Rebecca has an amazing voice ,but cant imagine watching her sing for 2 hours...she dosn`t entertain

One Direction probably their best week...it was nice to hear their voices for once, prehaps Simon should go ill more often .......? lol

Mary pretty much the same as most weeks , excellent voice but can`t see her winning

Cher...still can`t take to her and really fed up with her rapping on nearly every song...Ok we get it ....she can rap, i just don`t think its nessecary nearly all the time...

Poor Matt looks ill - he was sweating at the end of both songs, and his eyes haven't got the sparkle.
He's still got my vote though.
Rebecca is amazing - may have to make 2 votes tonight.

Watching it was much more relaxing than previous nights, I haven't had to 'tense up' ready to cringe at the prospect of Wagner
