glad to hear mac is ok. we went to eden camp about a month ago, not sure if he would be there that day or where to look for him (didnt think he would be with being ill recently). i did keep any eye out for him but there were so many people milling round dont think i would have spotted anyone anyway!
havent been on a 'meet' for a good 2/3 years, last one was in leeds which i really enjoyed.

Update on the Old Geezer..........

I am still alive and very much so, I am feeling very well after being on Steroids, 98% of the pain has gone and I no longer feel unwell most of the time

I am working (and I do mean working) both at the Air Museum and at Home, I am almost at the end of building a WW1 aircraft engine for a Replica Aircraft we have had for some years now and so far I have only been building it for 3 months, I should have it finished and installed by the end of next week. All the others have said it would have taken them 9 months, I DONT HANG ABOOT THA NOZ !!!

At home I cant sit around, I seem to have caught a "WORK BUG" and I must be doing something. On Monday after a couple of our fish died in the garden pond I decided to empy and clean it, all 500 gallons of water with about 5 inches of black, slimey silt I had it all done in a day.

Done a lot of gardening as well, the veggies are doing very well, next thing is to take up some large paving stones from down the side of the garage and plant a couple of Blackberry bushes, a couple of Gooseberries and some Raspberry canes.

The "trouble and strife" has gorn darn sowf for 3 days to the Hampton Court Flower Show with her sister so while she's away i will do the Housework, Mow the 3 Lawns and clean the Conservatory Roof

I stops me chasing all the "dirty women", dunnit ??

Feeling good Liz,

Been on Steroids, now on my 4th week, but coming off them on Friday

Very little and no pain and plenty of energy

Cant sit still, got to be doing something, been away to 2 lots of friends in Hants & Dorset and also visited my relations who I haven't see for more than 40 years.

traffic was very heavy coming back on Saturday, it slowed me right down to 90mph

The Doc has given me a standby packet of Steroids and Anti-biotics so I can treat myself if necessary

Oh alright but this will be norty:

Maude and Claude, both 91, lived in TheVillages,on the gold coast . They met at the singles club meeting anddiscovered over time that they enjoyed each other's company. After severalweeks of meeting for coffee, Claude asked Maude out for dinner and, much to hisdelight, she accepted.

They had a lovely evening. They dined at the most romantic restaurant in town.Despite his age, they ended up at his place for an after-dinner drink.

Things continued along a natural course and age being no inhibitor, Maude soonjoined Claude for a most enjoyable roll in the hay.

As they were basking in the glow of the magic moments they'd shared, each waslost for a time in their own thoughts.....

Claude was thinking
'If I'd known she was a virgin,
I'd have been gentler.'

Maude was thinking
'If I'd known he could still do it,
I'd have taken off my pantyhose.'

Maybe that will make him laugh....

Hi Liz,

Felt a little better this morning but I will be going to bed early again tonight.

I have an appointment with the Lungs Specialist to explore the next avenue to go down on Tuesday, also a couple of test results, a blood test on Thursday, another one on the 22nd, and I may be having a Gastroscopy in between

Yes, Liz, cant you find something to put up? Or are you having trouble doing it? I have just changed mine a little while ago. It is a picture of our house from down near the bottom of the drive. Not the best picture I have but I cant find the other one.

Having been for an Ambulance ride on Monday for the first time I can thoroughly recommend them. We were not going hell for leather tho and no sirens on. LOL

I am hoping Mac will not try and drive himself to the hospital but call for an ambulance if he feels unwell. He is such a determined man so to see that he is worried this time causes me concern.
