thankyou all and for pms too xxx feel a little lost atm but i change as soon as i hit the ward i become strong and cope and go along with the halucinations , he has is own room now which he feels is a bedsit he said to the nurse yesterday the place was a mess and she had to clean it up, hate it when he cries to come home hoping for wed xx

HI Puss, so sorry for you all. Even though you knew how bad you sdad was, its still such a shock when the docs tell confirm your worst fears isnt it. They will make him comfortable and give him pain relief. I am thinking of you so much, take care .

I'm so sorry to hear this news Puss,I'm sure you will stay strong for your mum,and try to keep smiling as we have to try and act as normal for everyone's sake.It is hard sometimes as I know,my OH was given 2 years over 3 years ago now,but although housebound and helpless,we have a lot of laughs.I know it's not cancer,but it is terminal and I'm constantly on call.

Hi Puss,I have followed your threads even though I have not added to them.I am so sorry to hear this outcome.I hope your Step Dad can be kept as comfortable and as pain free as possible in the time he has.Your poor Mum! You sound a wonderful daughter .I am sure you will give her strength.

So sorry, Puss. After all your worries lately this must nearly be the final straw, but you Will find the strength to carry on for your mothers sake. Widows are very resilient, my next door lady buried her third husband a few years ago and has gone on to manage her life to suit herself. At almost 93 she doesnt want another!
Rest assured we will all be thinking of you and willing you to hold out. Mum may surprise you.

I so feel for you Puss and just hope that you can be strong enough to get through this. Remember though that you are not alone you have all of us lending you our strength for those times that you feel less strong.

Collect your memories of the good days to come, and show your love each day. It will help the future.

Being overwhelmed and devastated, not to mention feeling lost and alone, are just small words to describe what must be your tremendous grief. Please know that there are people out there who are praying for you and for your family, who are sending thoughts your way, and while they may not know your pain, they sympathize with you.
