I know. I think I will be accused of jealousy.

YES she is a pretty girl.

YES she is an average singer.

YES she won the competition.

BUT she does not have the 30 years experience that the others have.

I agree MTG. I dont like Alesha Dixon. Get the feeling she doesnt know what she is on about.

MotownGal Report 2 Oct 2010 11:18

Sorry but STILL dont like Alesha Dixon as a judge.

She is a bit patronising I feel. OK she won the competition a couple of years ago.

BUT the other three have had years of experience DAHLING. Len is a former ballroom champion.

Dont like the way she personalises everything.

She wants to see more hip action, smile, hands.

Oooooh, she drives me MAD.

Hi all.

Didnt they do well ? lol

Paul Daniels is tipped to be forst out. I cant see Ann doing that well either.
Felicty Kendal was good I thought, you could see her hips aint what they used to be. Yes def hit by the botox fairy as she was really 'wrinkly'

Missed the first three couples, but enjoyed what I saw.
Matt was great very enjoyable to watch. I liked Pamela too but wonder what she will be like in the Latin dances. Very disappointed in Goldy, who didn't appear to have put in the work required.
Think that Paul Daniels might get the "John Sargent" vote.

We seem to have a lot of older celeb. dancers this time, all eligible for their free bus pass. Perhaps they are there to make Bruce look younger.

Will try to watch the complete prog. tonight

Both Felicity and Pamela have had work by the Botox Fairy. Gawd help us they look like waxworks.

Tom Chambers is going to be appearing in a stage version of BIG in the New Year.

Looking forward to Jimi Mistry. Loved his Indian dancing in The Guru. He should be good.

Wow! another, very talented, side to Matt Baker.
Didn't expect that!

Sla-la-la-linky!!!

Has Felicity had cosmetic surgery? Her nose and mouth look different.

Joy

Joy Report 1 Oct 2010 22:47

I think for someone age 72, Paul did well and his footwork was good.

The best, I thought, were Matt and Pamela.

It is difficult to judge them solely on their first dance. I would like to see them all do a ballroom and a Latin before they go out.

I think the smile will drop off Anton's smug face if he has to lift Anne - hernia springs to mind

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 1 Oct 2010 22:06

Matt was brill - a touch of Tom Chambers there with the acrobatics!!! Scott was excellent too - so much more difficult for the male celebs

Paul Daniels a non-starter

Can't wait to see Gavin Henson - plank of wood springs to mind

Yes I agree. Matt is very good. He has natural rythmn and he SMILED.

Scott quite good too.

Cant wait for Widdy tomorrow.

Even when she was walking out to the stage, she was leaning over to one side again.

Oooh dear. I dont like Brucie OR Tom.
Old show off and young show off.

Mark Ramprakash is the fella for me. Hope they bring him back for a celebrity dance. I think his Tango was electric. I just sat there with me tongue hanging out.

Yes got my vino too. With a delicate side order of cashews. I know how to live. lolol

50 minutes to go, and counting.

La la la la la la la, la la la la la.
[count them. pmsl]

Mornin' Mowtown and Marilyn.
Our local radio station have just interviewed the totally delectable Tom Chambers (winner '08) from Derbyshire. The sound of that voice over me bran flakes and fag made me go all goosy. He can play the lizard in my lounge any day of the week. He was just saying how nervous and wooden the contestants will be tonight.
Now they have just interviewed Peter Shilton (ex Derby County Goalie), and he was also saying that just the playing of the title music, is giving him butterflies.
Will be ready at 9.00 tonight with me Pork Scratchings and glass of Iron Bru' for stamina.
Here's Dancin'
Julia in Derbyshire
PS. A great big Brucie fan, don't know about the stick insect wiv 'im
