Ice Baby the nastiness began in the evening, I reported it (my posting is still there), someone else reported minutes before me, Mel reported it and as she was ill I expect she went to bed as the thread was upsetting. Apparently it was still there in the morning when all the nasty postings were removed.

I do not see why this thread should be abandoned - there is lots of valuable info there which could be lost should a new thread be set up.

Also as I have said before I have COPD caused by chronic asthma and I think it is a useful thread .

Does all of this really matter or this thread going to deteroriate into a nit-picking exercise?

Jenxx Report 19 Sep 2010 15:35

with all due respect Ice if some one is ill they cant spend 24/7 sat looking at a thread waiting for some one to post so they can reply to them
and if said post are nasty as you say better to stay away

Oh I think you are right there Ice about people being drawn to nastiness
Seen it the other night I think it was on a thread Fairy put up and if my memory serves me right it was aimed at Rose
but there you go I say Mel should leave the thread here just my opinion

off now to farm

I rarely see my Mum. She wasn't really a Mum to us. Its only recently a relationship has been formed, but I'm doing my best to stick with it. But thank you I will.

Kay????

Kay???? Report 19 Sep 2010 12:24

I'm suprised you never talked with your mum who must have over a long time suffered severe breathing problems possibly even many stays in hospital when bouts of COPD render cronic acute breathing problems very similar to asthma but COPD doesnt occur overnight.

COPD can delvelope from Asthma so follow what the dr says.

Ladies I'm sorry your posts have disappeared as far as I could see they were fine, but GR moves in a mysterious way its wonders to perform and we cannot argue with their decisions.

I wanted to let you all known I'm feeling much better today. My pf has remained at 140 and I am breathing pretty well and the chest pains have subsided. The infection continues to come out and hopefully when I see my dr tomorrow it will all be good news, though I know he will tell me to stay off work a while longer. I trust everyone else is as well as can be expected and that weather and conditions will be pleasant for you and ease your day.

I am feeling a little better today Jen, thank you. Could have done without some stress I'm experiencing. Let them or GR delete and we can get this thread back on track. Well said Chris my Mum has been diagnosed with COPD, she is my link to the family line I spoke of earlier; so she has been giving me some good tips also ie purifying the air and controlling damp spots in the house etc. Also how to get a portable nebuliser all good pointers. Off for a rest my middle one not too well today so no footie.

This thread has been invaluable to asthmatics and their carers to swop info. Mine turned into COPD and after 9 weeks in ICU last summer due to respiratory failure my lungs are shot.

It is a good job we do not know what lies ahead of us as I think I have said before - I tell my OH (who is, thank God, hale and hearty) not to dare go before me or I will kill him, I need him too much.

thank you Daff and Posh. I did not feel I was up to getting embroiled in all of this, but I would be first to ask questions. I need to state for the record that I have at no point EVER thought Amy was Hayley, I have spoken to the person I believe to be Amy and she knows how I feel about her. Hayley if you are reading this I'm very sorry your name has been dragged in here.
