I know Lisa but I am able to monitor and record. And I know I would have been worse staying in. I can go straight back if there is a problem. I'm more relaxed being home and kids here so that helps. |

thank you ladies with respect I made the choice to come home, knowing that I can return if needs be. My pf has already risen to 120 which I know is still v low but my breathing is controlled and my chest pains subsided. I have no idea of potassium levels etc. I am an asthmatic with a chest infection many are far worse off than me. |

I never heard of potassium levels until I was in hospital last year and it is the most foul thing to drink. I used to pur orange juice in it. |

They didn't check them Chris. I'm quite happy to be home. The hospital is literally 5 mins away. I still have 3 kids to think about 2 of which are still disabled. As well as other members of my family who need care. The fact that it has risen (if only slightly) is a good thing and I am being v sensible about everything. |

mel when you have an asthma attack and your peak flow goes very very to a 100 as yours did.,it causes your heart rate to increase to an often dangerous level, |

Kay I didn't have an attack I had probs breathing due to chest infection and restrictive airways caused my pf to be low. It caused me to hyperventalate but my bp and oxygen levels were ok. I just have an infection which is being treated and why I came home. Like I said there are others far worse of than I am. |

As Kay has mentioned Mel, you should have been blood tested for your potassium levels, they put you and themselves at risk for not doing so. I would be asking why they didnt do that. |
