There seem to be people with a particular mentality that find it necessary, whether on face book or in answer to newspaper comments (the ones that invite comments) to make sick replies that they find 'funny'. I am sure they are best ignored but I do wonder what type of people they are who do this. very strange.

In our local paper there are people (and I recognise the same names again and again) who cannot take anything seriously but have to constantly make facaetious (sp) remarks. I am sure they scour the paper with a view to getting themselves in print again and again. What pathetic lives these people lead.

Who is painting him as a hero, I have seen nothing to suggest this.

he is being painted as a hero to people who dont even know him

Because Stray to him and his even thugish mates he will become a legend how a child beatter is hero worshipped is beyond me I thought that even thieves had honor and that was a no no....

well te police conference just been on 10 thousand pound reward,
hes been camping in a tent and was in rothbury they have found a 8 page letter to his ex,

they also believe he burgled a house in Rothbury, and stole food and water,


im shocked hes in rothbury but there sure he is, and still belive he is in that area,

i dont understand if he wants a stand off why isnt he just coming out n having one, xxx

hes gona be running low on lots of things specially, if them two caught were the only ones helping him,

I live very close to a mother of a murderer he killed young girls for no reason what so ever , she still goes to see him and denys he did the murders (even though they have been proven)( the man was a father to 6 kids or more ) she has the media at her house often , how i would feel i dont know , but i know it would ruin the whole of my families life forever x

Okay, so he had a hard life - but so have many others. Thank god (or someone) that the many children abused by priests haven't decided to terrorise a town/village.
He's an adult - he no longer lives with his father - so that's no excuse.
If he needs treatment - (as many others do, I'm sure), it's up to him to seek it.
He was freed from prison and could have sought it - but didn't - HIS first thought was revenge - no thought for his children.
Everyone is responsible for their own actions - and if you have been the victim of someone elses actions, it's up to you to seek help.
I, (stranger on the street) am not psychic, am not aware of your problems - why terrorise me?
Likewise, the PC who was shot was just doing his job ie - being a policeman, not a psychiatrist.

I wasn't trying to excuse anything, just to find an (all too perverted) reason. Unless we understand these things, I don't know how we'll prevent them re-occuring

im sorry sue but all what you have just said is no excuse for anyone to behave that way ( ..lots of people have worst things happen in their lives and they dont behave like that , he's a daddy fgs daddies dont behave that way , the man has just come out of prision for being violent ... Hes a murdering jealous police hater , he knows what hes doing and the sooner he is caught and bought to justice the safe the people can sleep in Newcastle...

At the end of the day, this is someone who had come to the end of his tether. In his own (steroid induced) mind, his girlfriend had left him, his children had left him, and he had nothing to live for.

That doesn't make what he did right -of course it didn't - but life's a slippery slope.

The best thing that could happen to this man is that he's caught and treated.
