Let us know if you ever find where she was buried.

I reckon following up newspapers for an obituary would be worth the trouble. Also for that visit with the Queen. It would've been big news locally.

Just to let everyone no remember when i was asking about Mary McLaughlin marriage,and you were all so helpful will now i no i have the right one as i was sending some papers to afriend of mine ,and notice on Ann McLaughlin marriage cert in 1866 J Simmons was awittness on the cert ,as he and Mary were married in 1852 so now just have to find the right place in Camberley were Mary is Buried,thank you all for finding this brick wall

Can anyone help find the death of John Simmons i no he was alive in 1861 and on his wifes death cert in 1895 he was already dead,
Also achap sent me his army record but for some reason i cant print it and sent it to Rose and she could,nt open it ,is there anyone on findmypast have alook for me as i dont understand the writing on the army record,thank you

Dutch , ( replying on here now I would delete the other thread or yo u will get people running round for the same info :)The marriage cert as you say says 'barracks'...the marriage being in Chatham which is where Mary was living...so could have been a local barracks OR where John was stationed at the time..which we don't know... he was soon off to India though....

cananyone help now to find were she is buried in Camberley,and any information on census of the family ,will try and reply but if not will do later,as in quite alot of pain with my spine,and thank you for any help you can give,but i think we have found the right mary this time fingers crossed,have anice weekend all

Have sent off for Marys marriage cert and also her death cert fingers crossed its her
can anyone help with her birth,born about 1834 America british subjest thank you ,will be back later on got to try and get some sleep
