I cleaned the big girls out this morning and half the bantie and came in for a COT and forgot to go and do her run so she has a nice clean bedroom but not downstairs. I shall have to do that tomorrow.

Just written in my diary and saw that British summertime began today!!!!

We did'nt have a bad day here at least the wind had dropped.

Glad you managed to get a little sleep Vera now take it easy and I hope you get osme well earned sleep tonight too.

We hav'nt heard from Gill for a while.

Going t o watch the new Dickensian thing on BBC now so see you all in the morning.

Bucketing down with rain again. The courtyard in front of the house is like a giant paddling pool.

I lay down at about 5 pm yesterday and slept for an hour and I got some sleep last night, though I was very restless. Still feel a bit shaky so I’ll be taking it a bit easy today.

Its quite bright here this morning and pc says 6 degrees and cloudy. I can see a tiny bit of blue sky out the front.

When I got up and looked out the window there were two deer out the back and 3 female pheasents and Phil out by the big girls run. They have got to know the times I feed the girls and are waiting for thier corn too.

good morning all 5 degrees but bright and dry so far. Nothing planned for this morning but being picked up at 1pm to go to lunch at a restaurant called the Aviator which is on the perimeter of Gloucester airport. then going to Tewkesbury theatre to see a film about the artist Cezanne.

And its blimmin cold although the winds dropped.

I can't get into anything either. The suns gone and its been raining. Iv'e had some lunch so I am now going to get the castings out I did this morning.

BIL did'nt come and I think thats thrown me for today.

hopefully you are jus over tired Vera. Hope you will be back to normal tomorrow. I don't have much enthusiasm for anything today, no reason, no excuse, just can't settle. I have re-potted a couple of plants I had waiting, there are still four more needing to be done. I have given up on the frosted geraniums. they are not going to recover so I am emptying and re-using their pots.

I think part of my problem is I have the dreaded dentist appointment hanging over me for Monday now. :-( :-( :-(

I did make the effort to go to the garden centre with OH. They didn’t have what he wanted so all we came out with was a birthday card for grandson. OH suggested going on to Dobbies, another 20 miles away, so we did that. We nearly got blown over just walking from the car park. The wind was really gusting. He got what he wanted and suggested we had a coffee there but the cafe was packed so we just came back home.

I still feel very strange and disoriented, as though I’m wearing someone else’s head :-S. I think I am functioning normally but feel as though I’m on the outside looking in, if you know what I mean. I’m sure a good night’s sleep will make all the difference so I’m hoping for the best tonight.

sorry Vera I meant to say maybe if you went to the garden centre it would clear your head and you would feel better. anyway that is a bit late now so I hope that you have felt better as the day wore on. :-)

It's so annoyiung when that happens but I don't have a problem with eggs.

Fed all the birds and now I am going to do a bit of casting and then go up the shop. I also need to clean the big girls out but the wind is so cold I don't want to do it plus the fact that all the wood shavings blow about which makes more mess.

Hope you feel better later on Vera and perhaps a little outing will buck you up a bit.

Just had the receipt and notification from Tesco. Not so good this week two subs, bacon ok just a different pack, eggs medium substituted for large, ok acceptable as better than no eggs. Not available postage stamps (I guess everyone is stocking up) and reduced one litre Gordon's gin. that is annoying as it was to take to daughter's.

It’s another grey day with rain promised for this afternoon and it’s still quite windy. I’m going through one of my regular spells of not sleeping much so feel very heavy headed and lethargic. I haven’t got any plans for the day. OH wants to go to our local, small garden centre for a couple of bits but I’m not sure whether I’ll go with him or not.

I just had an email from Asda saying not to forget my order but I had done it in the week and it was telling me to book a slot. Anyway I think I have sorted it but it took me three quarters of an hour.

Nice bright morning with blue sky and whispy white fluffy clouds scudding across onthe wind and its 9 degrees.

Hoping BIL comes today as he did say he was coming this week to start sorting the shed.

good morning all. 7 degrees here so far and feels a bit chilly sky is cloudy bright. slept ok but lots of dreaming that I can;t remember except I woke up feeling really sad and I hate that.

Tesco delivery this morning but nothing else planned for today. could do a bit more tidying in the garden if it doesn't rain I suppose.

Surprised you feel confused AnnG as that’s how I would have pronounced it. Well, it’s a pretty name however it’s pronounced.

Just been informed by daughter that Maya is pronounced Miya. So we are both confused by that. Apparently it was the 9th most popular girls name in 2022.

Well, we've had the lot this afternoon - rain, sun, wind, thunder, rainbows. All we need now is a bit of snow and fog and we will have had all the seasons in one day.

Needless to say, I haven't got into the garden. I had a shower and hair wash and then went through one of our files, getting rid of old stuff and generally tidying it up. Then I had a chat on the phone with one of my friends and we put the world to rights. Now I'm dithering: it's a bit late for an afternoon cuppa but a bit early for a glass of wine. No, it's never too early for wine so I shall go and pour a glass and think about starting to cook dinner.

Oh thats lovely news congratulations Anng another little twig for the family tree ,I love her name .

Washing is all dry and folded up and there's now a few clouds building up but the suns still shining .

Got a few jobs done but not the ironing ,now going to do my knitting and watch Hope Street.
