We are really having it bad up here weather wise.
just had a phone call from daughter no 1 SIL left work at 2.30 this afternoon and is still not home, she spoke to him a couple of hours ago and he was still on the road, at least he is in a friends car and not on his own.

Just got text SIL hopefully home within the hour. keeping fingers crossed

Mandy ,M&S,had batteries included,but other batteries are now on the top of my shopping list lol

Fiona, you really have got a lot of snow. I don't think we have had anything like 9 inches of it for many years. Your poor SIL stuck all that time. I bet he will be relieved to get home.

SIL arrived home 10 minutes ago .His friend had to drop him off on the main street as he could not drive SIL into the housing estate where they live, so SIL walked the last 10mins home, all happy and safe now.

I'm of to have my shower then to bed.

It's a good feeling when you know everyone is home safe and sound (especially in this weather).

I was very disappointed with the tram disaster in Corrie.It looked so fake !.After all that build up too.
Just watching the Jungle party ,like you Mandy.Everyone thought that Gillian was Fake Fake Fake .

Thanks for the pics Mel......I see your garden got a nice thick frosting. I like the pic of the conifers.........couldn't remember if I saw them when I called to see you. It is really foggy here at the moment, so the frost may be even thicker on the branches tomorrow. I bet I'll be out again too.......not doing all the house stuff again. lol

Bin was emptied yesterday for the first time in 2 weeks.

Luckily we have had no problem with the bins being emptied,and all the main Roads seem gritted.
I think it is an even harder frost this morning,But a beautiful day.

Fitz rang just now to say he has no water running upstairs!!!!!!.Doesn't sound good to me.We are going into town later to the Chinese for lunch.£6 95 for all you can eat Buffet.I need to get to the P.O. again as a parcel is waiting to be picked up.

Morning and yes it is thicker frost this morning.

All the birds were waiting for me to feed them.

OH's car looks like it has a crew cut this morning!

I went round the garden for a walk with the camera. I just kept going right up to the top field.

I started this message a little after 9.20am and have been out there about an hour. My fingers are frozen but my feet are nice and warm.

Sorry about that Jane as I have said before it is OH's big Ca*on camera and they take even longer to send!!!

I have forgotten to tell you that I am feeding another robin when I go out to do the chickens. He won't come on my hand if I hold it out but when I layed my hand on a box from our furniture that is in the garage with polystyrene in it he came and feed from my hand. Now I put my hand on the ground and he comes very quickly and takes a seed and then flys off a little way away and then repeats the whole thing over again for about three or four time. By this time I have bobbed down so long I can hardly get back up again. I took some pics of him this morning. He retreats to under my car.

Morning

Cold, Sunny , frosty Morning. we have a lot of Ice now on pavements and the roads, Quite a few of the nieghbours were up at 8.00 this morning clearing the snow and chipping away at the ice so they could move their cars, OH says he should get back from Crew as the trains are running and only 1/2 hour late.

2 Parcels are due to arrive today, but who knows if they will come , we were lucky to get any post yesterday.

Thanks for your photo's Mel, lovely wreath, and the frosty windscreen I bet that took some scrapeing.

Enjoy your chinese lunch Jane, we used to get a chinese take away quite often but I find now that where ever we go they are always to salty for my taste so, I get Pizza when everyone else gets their chinese.

Our Bins are still sitting on the pavement from last week too David , it was ment to be the recycling bin but I think the household bin will also get emptied (Hopefully this week ) otherwise OH will need to go to the comunity refuse site.

I am away to get a coffee and do some ironing.

Yes Jane, OH goes to the hospital this Friday, all being well!! which will be a relief as after that we shall have an idea of what we are doing treatment wise! I'm to the dentist on Monday, but not for the same treatment as your OH Ann!!!!! Poor chap, it makes me shudder to think of it!!! Do hope he's feeling a bit more chipper! VERY frosty here, birdbath frozen as soon as it is thawed, if you see what I mean!! OH has a very friendly blackbird with a club foot! she's been around for about a year now on and off, it's amazing that she has survived so long. Oh makes sure that she gets preferential treatment!!!! We've got that electric blanket Mel! I'd forgotten how cozy they are!! bliss!!!!

Back from the PO.I went to get this parcel and bought a couple of cards and posted something else.What did I realise when I was in Nex* ,I forgot the blooming parcel ,so I had to go back to the PO and queue up all over again lol.

Off in a minute with Fitz.He is picking me up,but his driving scares me half to death.As it is only into town it will be ok.I tell him one day he will come a cropper.

What a FROST. never seen one like it, was going out in the garden with camera, but thought better of it, Ice everywhere, I don't want to end up on my back !!!! Not in the ice .

The timer on the outside lights was playing up last night, Ros said they were still on at 12.30 am. I put in a small extention lead from the plus then the timer into that, only to find the extention leAD IS bUGG####. So had to rewire it. Still didn't work. Bined it.!!! will get another in I go to B & # I've got them working again on the timer. So all is well.

Liz, Do hope your OH gets on allright on Friday, will be thinking of you.

I have had to clean my keyboard it was stuck with toffee from sticky fingers again when April came me saying April please no sweets near the computor did not work at all. I found bits of chocolate and jam and lots more all stuck on my keyboard. I had to laugh when I read back my messages really rubbish My keys just stuck and I was typing all kinds of mistooks

I loved seing all the snow although the weather is not nice and where you all live looks worse than here and thats bad enough.

Mel they do not take any notice of you being married. Mohsen will have to produce his money answer two pages of questions about this country
produce his driving licence ,his work permit , and any work payment slips
or anything like that. I think being married is taken into account and the fact he does have a job so I do not think he Mohsen will have a problem
although he may with the police after those women accused him of indecent behaviour . He does have the money and that should help also
but think what he could do with that instead of handing it to the emigration dept my son in laws not had a penny off this country .But if anything does not please he will have to leave in a month and Michelle would not go back with him they would just always be friends. No doubt see each other like the five years before. One of Mohsens cousons was sent back home and he married a english women but had no work and no money and he was taken to the airport and put on a plane back to Tunisia. He did not even bother to learn english. Mohsen went to evening collage to improve his speech he got words muddled up he used to say for example which came out poor example every other word it was so annoying and
listen please very other sentence. I found myself saying listen please Mohsen like a cuckoo.So he needed some polishing up.

I hope you get my cards soon I have visions of them all coming unstuck shoved in some place not being sent out all hand made all different nobodies had a single card I sent friends relatives nobody.

My new found family member is snowed under in Derbyshire and said my card is in a frozen post box thats not been empied and she could not get out of her house.

she fell and hit her elbow on the path and its in plaster she said I have my armie stuck out in very funny proposition . She put a note through my door
well some member of her family did. I had to do all the work today serve sort clothes and everything was in on my own but the time went quickly
and I sold a lot of stuff or rubbish my husband calls it. But some people are glad of it.

Our bins have still not been moved and bags of rubbish all down the road.
and blue boxes everywhere for recycling stuff.

Amanda Beryls not with Donnie at the moment some man called Eric with a big bank balance and a car and a flat in a high rise building close to the city.Beryl looks like a stick if she gets thinner she will disapear and I think she is ill her head keeps nodding up and down and maybe Eric is after her money and thinks she agreeing to everything he asks for.? I have told her to see a doctor bur she will not listen She said he does have lots of money but shes been paying for him over the week end they went out to dinner and she paid. Maybe I sound hard but tired of her now.
