Annx Report 10 Nov 2010 20:46

I have recorded Edwardian Farm as I've been buying a card reader on here. All the cards except my mobile one fit the computer. lol Mandy you must be watching me.......OH and I have just finished the choccies!!! lol, lol I had most because he didn't want the toffees that were left.

Mel, sorry to hear you have to go for an xray.

Sheila, I always record it and watch it later on in bed. lol It sounds to me like Teddy may already have found his new home?

That was nice for Hannah Jane.....I like her boss's comment! I think I would treasure the 'wotsits' just as much as the other gifts.

Hi sorry this is so late we had the police here from 10am untill now they are looking for some burglers and think they may have been in our shop and we have a video camera that the Birmingham council stop crime dept gave us. We had to look all the way from last month but although the police had mug shots they did not reconise anyone and they were asking do you know that or this man did they do anything strange. I get a bit fed of it. Always some crime or other.

I am going to take your advice on Teddy Jane and try not to make Jasper jealous .

I was wondering what happened to Jill but did not like to ask until mentioned. Ann is it Loose women you record .
Oh blast I missed the pride of britain awards Jane wanted to see that watched The man u manchester match after Edwardian Farm then the Apprentice why is it they put all the good programmes on in one night. Anyone going to watch Im a celebrity get me out of here

.Ann I think you are right Teddie does have a home best to keep the little chap. Well both snoring now so will say goodnight sorry its so late I bet your all tucked up in bed.

Morning All ,on a filthy ,windy, rainy, dark morning.
Hannah and Chris are still asleep, and Chester is still tucked up.He poked his nose out the back door and looked at me as if ti say"you really expect me to go for a wee in that" lol.He just went straight back to bed with his legs crossed.

Sheila ,I always say I won't be watching Get Me out Of Here...but end up watching anyway.
I am going to snuggle up on the settee with my book and cup of tea now.Not looking forward to the walk!!

I bet each time you get a visit from the police you think Here we go again!

Mel Fairy Godmother Report 11 Nov 2010 09:49

Sheila liked the piccies of your garden.

My fault about calling that program yesterday Victorian Farm. I meant to say Edwardian Farm. I did enjoy it and shall probably watch it again on Replay as OH talks sometimes when I am watching and I miss a bit. I wait till he is in bed and watch it then.

Thank you Ann for the photos, they're really lovely. What a dreadful morning it is here today, glad we did those logs!! Going to Tesco's later, then battening down the hatches. Loved Edwardian Farm, all that scubbing and lime making doesn't appeal at all though!!!! Sheeps head?!!! I don't think so! would frighten Millie,(and me!) Afterwards, we watched a programme about civilisation; was a bit slow to start with, but was pretty interesting once it got going, shall watch again next week. No housework today, did enough yesterday to last till Xmas!!!!

Jane

Jane Report 11 Nov 2010 10:03

This is most unusual.I am still in my dressing gown and Chester is still in his bed lol.I can't stand the thought of going out in this horrible weather but I will have to soon.Chester will cease up if he doesn't get moving !!!

Frank

Frank Report 11 Nov 2010 11:09

Off you go Jane, you will be back before you know it !!!!

Ain't going anywhere today, computer, book, coffee, and T.V.
Iv'e recorded the Farm. Will look at that when I have TIME.!!!!
Shelia you seem to have more adventures than "Rubert Bear" you must live in a real bad area. I think I would consider moving.

Just watch the two minute silence. Will be watching the Royal Albert Hall saturday, and the Sunday service. Never miss it.

Still hissing down here, wind blowing, Heating and lights on.

I won't say GOOD morning.....It's 'orrid. Took my car to the garage and I got soaked.....hate it when it blows on your specs. We called in Sains for brekkie and did a shop after and met someone we both worked with at different times many years ago. He is 69 now and really enjoying his retirement too!!

The S*y man will be here soon (I hope!) to fix the tele. I bet he will have the front door wide open.

I was careful with those toffees Mandy, sucked them, daren't chew or it would be 'goodbye fillings'. lol I never buy toffees......but if they are there, can't resist!!!

There's never a dull moment where you are Sheila, I would be living on my nerves if I were you.

Ann read my first post. I just said Hi !!

Great minds think alike.

OH is putting up a new light fitting in the spare bedroom and moaning about the grotty fitting on the ceiling!! He says everything in this house that was here is cheap and nasty.

Forgot to say I missed the end of Edwardian Farm as I was at OH pc looking at an auction for a large fish tank. We did'nt get it as it went over what OH was prepared to pay. He is very good like that, he will say what he will go up to and stick to it. Not me I offered to give him some money towards it but he said no.

Mel Fairy Godmother Report 11 Nov 2010 12:01

12 noon and the sun has just come out. Hooray!!!!

Annx

Annx Report 11 Nov 2010 12:49

Yes,Mel, lol We don't have any sun here yet. We started changing things with the bathroom 5 years ago. It was dark and dingy and not user friendly.....no storage. Once you do one room you start looking at the others!! lol Now it is the back garden as you know. lol, lol Very enjoyable seeing what a difference you can make though. I bet you and your OH are loving the changes and the sprucing up!! We are still considering a small fish tank in the lounge. I kept tropicals as a teenager and had quite a big tank for many years. The newer ones have everything 'plumbed in' and look very nice, but some are quite deep, not sure my arm would reach the bottom........might fall in!! lol

I have recorded Edwardian Farm......love these kinds of programmes.

Jane Report 11 Nov 2010 13:22

Well I thought it was brightening up,I think I saw the sun,but no it's black again.
Frank you were dead right,I was back from the walk before I knew it lol.I think we were out for about 10mins !!!
I'm pleased I got all those logs stacked away yesterday in the dry.Did Liz get her logs cut?
Our friend Rachel in Dubai has a large tank there of Tropical fish.I asked what would happen to them if she moved back here. She said that they would be flown home and the tank too.She also has 2 dogs now and they have their passports lol
