When are you going Sheila?,and how long will you be away?.I hope you have a really restful and happy time with your friend. We will miss you. What will Beryl do without you lol.
The rain seems to have cleared away now and there is blue sky.A little nip in the air I think.I may have to put something with sleeves on.The chimney is all ready for when we have a fire.It won't be until it is really really cold.I find it too dirty and dusty even though I love a real fire.Haven't had the heating on yet.I'm dreading it really as I bet we will start having problems again like last year. James and Jess are back from Cambridge. They had a lovely day.Didn't have a punt but had a rowing boat instead as it was very windy.Jess is going back home to Kent tomorrow so I will have to have a look around to make sure she has all her things. She is a bit scatty lol.

hi Jane I am going in in a few hours thank you for your good wishes again I sound like a moanie gramaphone record was fine today just out walking with Jasper and wham something hit me so hard I felt really sick for a moment and then some stupid boy went running off across the grass. I was alright for a while my face was bloody but not a lot a bit like when you pick a spot and it bleeds. Now I have a huge bruise on my cheek it is painful. I phoned Annie and said is that offer still going for me to stay with you. I have had enough of Birmingham. I said when can I come and she said how about in half an hour I said can you make it about 10am she said fine.
Matt phoned then to make me worse and said Sheil thats what he calls me I have to have a scan I may have some bleeding the specialist said if so I will need an operation I said shall I come back up to Wales he said with all those noises that worried you. He said go to Stratford and have a nice time.Jess said she can cope and will ask her friend to look after April when she is not around.
Sophia s reporter came and he upset her straight away this morning said Sophia Keogeski she said yes he said I went to your house and saw your mother she said you were here. Sophia hit the poor man with a magazine and said whotta you mean my mother thats my daughter Maria Ann Carlotta Josephine not my mother The poor man looked horrified and said I have come to take your picture.Sophia said fine and stood posing for 15 minutes . The reporter said Oh shes a handful hope she does not win anymore competitions .its a beautiful cake will send a picture. Lunch day with Beryl tomorrow but have told her I am going away and she swore at me I said I have been shot with a cork and she said got one for old mouthy could do with a cork for Donnies gob.I did not ask why he asks her for a ciggy and when shes not got one he gets a bit annoyed maybe thats what upset her. She can get on with it. I am going to posh and shes rough .I think she will come round when she wants something from me. Bye for now everyone again!!!! Anyway you will have Catie and Elizabeth and Janice so one less will be good its nice having new threadies. love you all xxxx sheila MEL sorry about your mum .

Well, it's all been happening today, I can hardly keep up!!
Poor you Shirl, that must have been very frightening for you and for your OH. I hope he is feeling well again and is ok now.
Catie I'm glad you all got through yesterday and it was nice to have met some more of the family.......little Mark could be tall then. Hopefully as the practicalities gradually get sorted your poor BIL will be able to function better. He mustn't expect too much of himself though it is one day at a time and it will be harder some days.
Elizabeth, it is always a twitchy time waiting for these things, but good your OH is being checked out. Best to keep busy. That pony of yours is a beauty, I love him!!
Mel, sorry to hear your mum isn't well. Has she had this happen before.....must be quite worrying for you. I hope she feels better soon.

Sheila, what can I say. No sooner back from a holiday and needing another. That was awful, being hit in the face like that just walking your dog. It would put me off walking there. I would be scared it would happen again. It will be a nice change to be with your friend near Stratford......it sounds calmer there!! Now poor Matt has to have a scan. Your life sounds like there is one thing after another. Hope your poor face is better soon.

We had a new visitor today. lol OH was out on the front putting the bin out when the lady next door came out with hers too. OH turned around to see something furry disappearing through our front door. Neighbour shouted ALFIE, no sign of him. Since her husband died earlier this year, she recently got a Lhasa Apso puppy and it was him legging it through our door. OH had to go in and scoop him up, cute, fluffy fawn and white with a black thin droopy moustache. I think we may be seeing him again!!!! lol
Mel, I have PEAS......just a few ready.......planting in July wasn't too late just like you said. I have already had one or two pods full raw.

Morning All So windy again but fairly bright. I hated having to take my 2 for their injections Fiona.Knowing they would cry just a second after the jab.But we have to do these things to keep our children safe don't we. Vet's this afternoon.Chesters limp is so much worse. It does wear off but even if he lies down for a minute ,when he gets up it is terrible. I bet Ann will make a nice fuss of the little dog if he decides to visit her again lol.I often found next doors dog in our garden and he loved to come in .He was lonely as he was left all day on his own in the garden. He would somehow get over or through the fence and hedge.Poor thing was killed by a car one evening. It would not have happened if they looked after him properly.I'll say no more on that ,as I will wind myself up lol Mel I hope your Mum has had a good night .

Not a lot of news from this end. Haven't been exerting myself. I have to strip the greenhouse of all the tomato plants. and taks down my beans before the bin men come Monday Week. They are just about finished. Given bags of toms away to neighbours. If they weren't in I hung them on their doors. They will wonder who the fairy was, picked enough beans for dinner last night, might get another picking before I take them up.
Lawns need cutting again, but they can wait.
Took Ros out yesterday, and bought new ear rings and bracelet for her birthday. All the family coming Sunday and we are going to the local carvery for lunch (7 of us). It's a Tob# and the food is always fresh and plenty of it. That will suit the BOYS. they can eat like a horse.
Jane, This woman Janice from Australia.Answered me on the Community site. When I asked about that doctor, who had seen a woman 6 times in 8 years and didn't find she had Cancer. I asked if he should be struck off. and Janice replied That was a few weeks ago. then at the weekend, she enquired if I had got over the upset. Thinking I had a family involement in the case. I replied, that it was nothing to do with me. and got chatting. I asked if she would like to join the thread. Still waiting for her to come on line. She has sent a JOKE so she's like us !!!!!!

Afternoon All,
YOU a FAIRY Frank!!. Shirl will be choking when she reads that. lol Seriously though that is a very nice gesture. At my previous house I would arrive home and find things on the doorstep at times, a cauli once, cabbage. I never did find out who was leaving them though, so I could never thank them. I did wonder whether they had left them at the right doorstep. lol Another man who used to cross the park at the bottom of the garden would bring me beans too.
Yes Jane, little Alfie will be very welcome!! He's 17 weeks old and we haven't even heard him bark yet.
Kevin, I wish some would come and dig for me that cheaply. We never see any bob a jobbers these days. A favourite thing used to be washing your car. I suppose they would have to be accompanied by an adult now.
