Catiel can I have your picture still in Wales
but having trouble with computor I am sorry about yout brother in law I think it will be awful
for him it will take time for him to fell better you know when you get that terrible empty feeling remember when my dad died it suddenly comes over you. He must miss his wife so much and in a way its good he does have the children.

My next door neighbour died of cancer she was my best friend and she had a husband and children and it took him years to get over it but times does heal I went in a little chapel here and lit a candle for your family and said a prayer. Its a lovely little chapel its got a beautiful window
but is very spooky when you are on your own the silence I think love from sheila.

Sheila.... Thank you for your kind thoughts. The welsh air must be doing you some good.... you don't sound as tired. It was lovely to hear from you.

Frank.... I shall have to watch my chocolate intake or I may end up like one of those Calender girls lol Showed the pics to my OH and he came over really pale lol.

Jane.... Thank you for Hannah's pic. I think she looks lovely and I can see a resemblance to you.
I'm a Freelance Musician Jane - pick and choose the jobs I fancy. I was scheduled to work in Germany this month - standing in for a friend - but that's not been possible. We have a big mortgage and so dependent on me working at the moment. I actually earn more than my OH - so it's a problem. Fortunately my parents have been in the position to help financially and insisted on doing so. They love the children and want to see BIL back on his feet and the children emotionally secure.
Glad you are feeling a bit better now.

I will have to go in a tick just been reading the threads coming on
Catie your picture is on aol but will not see it until I get home Jane sent it about 30 minutes ago so asked my daughter to look for me
she said Catie is a very pretty girl well i will have to wait before I see it. We are well out in the country at St Aphad its got a town but we are 30 minutes away from the town and nobody can drive Matts broke his leg.Jess drives but her car is in the garage mot needed
and I can drive but you can bet your life if I jumped in Matts car I would get nicked. the nearest shop is about 2 miles away. There is a pub called the Merry Sailor but the food is not all that good but I
could eat a horse right now but my egg and chips are on the table
and this computor is doing all kinds of crazy things. Jasper loves it here .I did not go on the computor just to see what Catie looked like wanted to know if my tickets were coming did I tell everyone I have won two seats to see Joan Collins in panto at Christmas .
I had to answer three questions in the Mail the newspaper and got it right. Never won a thing before. I get to meet Joan afterwards I read a lot of Jackies Collins books. I think Joan is playing Queen Rat or something like that. well nite nite cannot see now to type too dark we do have electric though nobodies put the light on yet. ?? seems like Im am in the back of beyond my daughters a little laid back
Matts asleep so I will put on the light. Bye everyone been nice getting on to chat today but will not do it again the computor reception is awful until later take care

Hi Everyone,

Catie, sounds like your poor brother is finding it hard to hold it all together. His GP is good to find someone who can relate to what he is going through and that will help. Like Shirl said he may need counselling to help him through this enormous loss and and better he ask for help sooner rather than later. I can't begin to imagine anyone coping at all in his situation without every bit of help and support they can get. A good thing is that he has a very good sister in you keeping an eye on him at the moment and caring for baby Mark. I'm glad he let you have more sleep last night and I can just picture that cute row of tiny clothes pegged out!! lol When my sister and brother were tiny babies I wanted to dress my dolls in their clothes, but had to wait till they were outgrown!! I wasn't ever keen on dolls I think because of their 'frozen stares', but I did like dressing them up.

Catie ,a lot of people think Hannah resembles me .(Poor Girl) lol
I love that thought as I was adopted and she was my first blood relation, and `i never had anyone that I could look at and say I look like them.UNTIL a couple of years ago and I discovered my Birth Family.I am the spit and image of my Birth Mother.(Never got to meet her as she had died) .But it was a very strange feeling seeing a photo of someone who looked like me lol

Annx Report 9 Sep 2010 19:45

Sheila, it sounds as if things are as hectic on holiday as at home!! Glad Jasper is enjoying it. That is quite a long way to the shop!! Well done you for winning the tickets and the chance to meet Joan Collins after. What pantomime is she in at christmas?

Jane

Jane Report 9 Sep 2010 19:50

Ann I had a doll I called Angela. She was hideous when I think about it lol.Her eyes moved from side to side when I walked her.Her legs moved ,so each time I moved a leg forward her eyes went one way and when the other leg moved her eyes went the other way !!!!!!.Scary eh??.

We went to the garden centre today which is near a place called Woore, gawd knows how you say it. It was very good and I bought a red berried shrub and a kind of sedum rock plant. They had a Hobbiec*aft shop in the centre, so as usual I spent ages in there. lol On the way back there were huge queues coming the other way on the M6 due to that accident where 2 pedestrians were killed by a lorry.

I'm off to watch the E-numbers programme now......

Joan Collins in Pantomime!!!.I would never imagine her doing pantomime lol
She is amazing for her age.Can I imagine me like her at that age ? No .I can see me in a home lol, with a bib and a Zimmer

CatieI Report 9 Sep 2010 21:14

Sheila.... Meeting Joan Collins will be interesting lol. You will have to give us a detailed account of the meeting lol.

Jane, I can understand the emotion you felt when Hannah was born. A 'connection' that until then, you had never enjoyed. She has a kind face and from the work she does, she must be very caring. I resemble my maternal grandmother and she was Swedish. She was also very musical - none of the other members of my family are. My brother is the spitting image of my father.... they even have the same walk lol

It's my OH's Birthday tomorrow. He's taking a long weekend and staying here with us. That will be nice. FRANK... before you ask.... He will be 35... So a lot older than me lol He is the spitting image of Ben Fogle and is often stopped in the street for autographs. That can be a nuisance though. He's very quiet and sensible.... So the opposite to me lol

Well, I'm off to bed. So night night everyone xx

Jane

Jane Report 9 Sep 2010 21:35

I always thought Ben Fogle was rather nice lol.Just something about him.
I know when I got married one of my patients thought Chris looked like Ian Botham .I actually thought he was better looking than Chris lolol.
Catie ,are you staying far from home or is it quite close? It will be nice for you to be together for your OH's Birthday. It must be difficult for him with you being away.
Funny you say he is the quiet one and sensible.Me and Chris are the same as you two.He is sooooo quiet and `i am the out going one .He would say I was 'gobby' lol.I hate that expression .I just say I am friendly and will talk to anyone.
They say opposites attract. So it must work .Married 29 years .I say no more lolol

Hi all
Just on the way to bed so before I turn the computer off I popped into say good night, been to my family history meeting first one after the summer. It's been a while since I was there as with banging my head back in March I didn't make the meetings in March , April , May or June.
Good to catch up on all the news, and where people went on there holls over the summer.

Well I'm off , catch up tomorrow before my exercise class, no babysitting tomorrow afternoon as SIL is off work this week , so daughter can go to the job centre in the car , she has to report in and tell them she now has a job
night night XXXXXX
