Your friend is lucky going to see Andre Sheila. She will have a good time I'm sure. I notice some of the tickets were nearly £500 and then a huge booking fee too.
It's too nice to stay in so I'm going out!! We don't know how much more sun we'll get this year. I need some plants for the front wall pots. I'll take my camera in case I go for a walk afterwards. TTFN

Mel..... Baby Mark was 51b 5oz at birth. Haven't a clue what he is now. Never seen a baby with so much hair though.... The nurses have nicknamed him 'Spikey', because it stands up on end like a punk :).
Jane...The twins are at Nursery and despite Emily's diasability, in the same class. Emily has a classroom assistant though. The new term starts on Tuesday and they will be full time.
Sheila ... Thank you for your kind thoughts.
My parents have come for the weekend and spending time with the twins. At the moment they are making 'memory boxes' together and talking about their mum. It really seems to be helping them.
I had better go and prepare something to eat. To be honest, noone has been interested until today.

Yes Frank, plenty of room for a little one !! can i get you a Crab !! lol
Ann, when ever we go to Wells the tide always seems to be out ,but when it does come in the water is very fast flowing and lots of people have been cut off because they walk over the sands out to look at the sea and the water comes in behind them in the Channel, there is a Siren and warning signs but they don't seem to take any notice of them !! When we have a really high tide the car park gets flooded and they pull the flood barriers out across the road .

Afternoon all Just got back from dad's care home Garden party was a great sucsess?(sp). Found out the reason for the party was to celebrate the new Gardening project that the home has been doing for the last 5 months. Our local Council wanted to do a gardening promotion DVD on how to encourage people with Dementia to work in the garden, also it was a good way of promoting the Care home itself to the public.
There was a camera man and his assistant interviewing some of the families who had relatives living at the care home, Guess who was asked to do an interview on what they thought about the project and how it has made a difference to dad and if I thought it was agood way of helping people with dementia, said I was very empressed with the garden as it was looking lovely with all the flowers, herb gardens ,sensory & smell borders. also a lovely green house with Vegtables, and different plants growing in it I also saw lots of photo's showing dad watering and digging in the garden and pulling up carrots which were to be used by the chef in the kitchen who cooks the meals for the residents.
I'm looking forward to seeing the DVD it was quite nerve wracking to be interviewed so glad I had been to the hairdresses on Wednesday. There I was A STAR for the day.

Mandy, You should get yourself a "Tide Table" I'm sure you would be able to pick one up along the coast.,when you are there.
Years ago, Pendine sands. NearTenby. was a great place to get caught out by the tide. The local garage had a tractor parked by the entrance to the beech. To pull them out of the sea,at what cost I do not know. Once when at the seaside with my ex and children. One of theses "HOORAY HENRY" types. came down onto the beach towing his speed boat. Drove straight into the sea to release the boat, and got stuck. When they managed to get the 4 x 4 out of the sea, it was full of water. I know we should'nt but the beach roared with laughter. You should have seen his face !!!!!
The part of conseratory that I have done, looks like new. One piece of the roof strut needs some attention. I will have to measure it up and fit a new piece over it. It sould last a few more years.
I googled that song this morning "Give me a nail and a Hammer" it was a song my brother sang to us when we were tiny. Also "South of the Boarder down Mexico way"
Silly old Sod arn't I thinking back all those years.!!!!!

Catie,Mark may be a few ounces less now.I seem to remember they loose a little before they start to get heavier.Love the name 'Spikey'.I wonder if that will now be his nickname lol. It is good the girls will be full time at Nursery. They will be kept occupied with things to do and playing with other children. It will give your BIL space to try and get to grips with the new situation.I am sure you will let us all know how things progress.
There's you Mandy making me all jealous again with all that talk of the coast lol
I have just joined Ancestry!!! Twelve months Premium Membership.I wonder what I will be doing now 24/7 lolol.I found my Nana was left just over £400 from her father. Not quite in the same league as Fitz's family!!! I will be popping down to his in an hour to give his Mum her meal and feed the cat.No doubt we will have a little chat about 'Edith' !
Ann 2and a quarter hours for your hair!!!!.Did you take a book to read like I do?

Ann I have a feather fan somewhere .I think it belonged to Chris's Grandma. It isn't quite big enough to cover bits, but it's lovely. It always surprises me that the feathers haven't fallen out after all these years. It is in a box with a dainty little beaded bag.
I must get sorted to go down to see to Mrs Fitz Senior.I hope she is not on a high or on a downer.(strange lady).I thought I might take her a portion of my runner bean concoction (with onion, bacon, and oregano) to go with her microwave meal of Beef Cannelloni .

Hi Jane and everyone I hope you have had as lovely day it as been hot and sunny here today. I took the girls to the supermarket .Little Megan fell backwards into a pile of toilet rolls.Megan was so scared she said will I have to pay for them. April thought it was very funny .I felt sorry for the lad who had to pile them back up again. But he was so sweet.
My friend lives near Cofton Park where Pope Benidict will visit and will have to have a pass to get into her house on the Sunday the 19th Sept . Pope Benidict was surposed to have gone to visit Coventry but now is coming to Birmingham to make Cardinal Newman a saint at the Oratory a big catholic school. I think to go to the beautification at the park it costs £50 to £70 pound.I said to Beryl they opened up Cardinal Newmans tomb many years ago I do not know what they expected to find a couple of bones maybe. Beryl said well what did they expect after all that time .The bloke to be sat having a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit . I can remember saying everything is groovy and cool .Ann I am with Anchestry my brother bought me a prem it is great but found my relatives on Genes. Amanda wish we had a zoo round here ours is miles away . I showed my friend Fionas picture of the baby and she thought she was lovely.well have to be a ghost now have a sheet over my head and make ghostie noises the two girls bought some horrible witch like masks and face paint and I am a ghost. that should be fun.

Shirl.... Nicky would have been 37 on September 14. That will be a difficult day for BIL.
My BIL said something really strange happened when he was at the hospital today. He was sat quietly with the baby and he suddenly heard a lot of shouting. He instinctively went to the door to see what was happening and a young woman was shouting at a doctor. To cut a long story short, she was maintaining that he was the father of her child. The doctor said nothing. An alarm bell then rang and a couple of security men escorted her out of the area. My BIL is now concerned about the security of the hospital. When you enter the area where Mark is, you have to press a buzzer and then the door is opened. Not sure why the lady was there. Anyway, we are all wondering.... Was the doctor the father of her baby... Or was she a crack-pot lol

I wonder if the lady had lost the plot Catie.I doubt there is any need to worry .After that episode security will be even tighter. Gosh 36,so young.Life is so cruel sometimes. It takes the good ones and leaves the ones that should never be around. There is never the right answer.
