phew... I wasn't THAT far off...though the railway arms being the gates to heaven threw me a bit .

Well chuffed with the ending...PERFECT just what I'd hoped for !

AND they played Heroes as the last song which just felt right when i was lyric searching ....so it all fits for me.

I'll miss the Gene Genie...but he *lives* to fight another day in his world.

Gene Hunt was the catalyst for all the dead souls who were in Purdah [the police station]. He just re-generates again and again, like the film Deathwatch.

The Railway Arms was the gates of heaven and they were all dead [which we guessed] and when they pass through the door they were at peace I guess.

Keats was the devil I'm thinking. Liked the elevator to Hell.

Sorry girls but I'm sitting here with my Waynette slob velour trousers on and a baggy t-shirt. Can't get any normal glam clothes on at the moment over my swelly belly, I hope that Gene doesn't mind too much, I'm sure he'll understand when he knows I've been in hospital.

Well, if Motowngal is right and Gene can see me he'll have a shock. I think the series would have ended a long time ago. Still, it's worth the effort. I'll try to tidy myself up a bit as everyone else is.

I have already had me bath and about to do me nails so I will just stunning more so than Muffy :))))

I'm going to have a cuppa soon and possibly a biscuit (that's the limit of my luxuries). Then, sit back with a blanket over me and hope (oh please no!!) that I don't fall asleep about 10 minutes from the end.

OHG - only 52 minutes to go (then the hour of the programme, obviously). I can't wait.

I'm about to have my bath and go and slip into something more comfortable ready for my final *sobs* date with the Gene Genie.

Stocked up on the old Kleenex earlier ...and have a cheeky bottle of red ready to crack open at 9 to help ease the pain of my loss lol xx
