The duvet cover stays with me I'm afraid, it's my favourite one and my dad bought it for me.

The best thing about the flats across the way, is that even though they are only a matter of yards from me, they can't be seen on google streeview, the car never got that far in this cul de sac. hehehe

Here is the way to do it TW.....have a yard sale of unwanted stuff......( you would need to get rid of it before moving anyway )....Where there is a will there is a way :-)

BC and I will fight over the Poppy duvet lol

I have a duvet cover with poppies on it, it's pale yellow and the poppies are a terracotta colour, really nice and the only one the cat will sleep on.

Susan, I can't move, I need to get the first month's rent and deposit together, plus cost of moving, and without a job, that's not going to happen in the near future, or I'd have been out of here ages ago LOL>

We will one day, and hopefully to one of the flats just across the road, which either have their own big balcony if first floor, or their own little bit of patio as well as communal garden. I've been watching them for a ground floor to become vacant.

Why don't you scatter a few packets of wild flowers on the grassy bank and forbid the man from mowing for a while?

Susan, I very nearly paid one hundred and thirty pounds for a duvet cover with poppies all over it....lol....is that too much??

Awww BC, I would have been gardening if I could, but all I have is a little grassy bank that gets mowed once a fortnight by the maintenance man. *sigh*

Can't even sit out in a chair and read a book, it's far too public next to the road.

I cooked lunch, I washed I sorted paperwork and I did some look ups, and D mowed the grass :) The garden is lovely...lots of red tulips :)

I am gathering my reserves of energy ( nil) for tomorrow when I have to go and do tiling... and sort out if I am staying here another 6 months ( I hope)
