One of EastEnders' favourite couples will be returning to the show later this year.
As previously reported Shane Ritchie will reprise his role as the East End loveable rogue Alfie and Jessie will return as the brash, tart with a heart, Kat Moon.

The pair were last seen on the show when Kat and Alfie left Albert Square on Christmas Day in 2005 and have remained as two of the shows' most loved and iconic characters.

Kat was never one of my fav characters I must admit, too gobby and Shane wossit I find very irritating. I missed EE last night cos the reminder never came up via Sky grrrrrr and when I realised the time it was 5 to 8 Will have to watch it on catch up.

I know Peggy/Ronnie are def going. I hope Ronnie wheels off with Tefal head Jack, talk about wooden.
