I am sure they will be looking in...
Or we will get the big guns out

We will try TTF and the Records board
To get them back in line

It caused me quite a thirst!

A chiffon black dress
just a nice calf length
and four inch heels
God give me strength !

All finished off
with diamante bling
and a wrap on my shoulders
to cover everything

So now I really don't give a d**n
If I look like mutton dressed up as lamb..lol

Well, she`s got out our `fun box` & opened the lid,
she`s re-discovered clothes to make her look fine,
& now all she needs is a good quality wine !!

you remember how we shone as we shimmied & strutted,
with stillettos & stoles, oh how they all tutted !
all our dreams we packed in that big box of fun,
open it up, Maggie, now you are the one
to take your pick, wear just what feels right,

getting dressed up
i know just how you feel
sloppy jeans and a t shirt
now that is something real
now don't forget how to hold your glass
little finger sticking out
and when a gorgeous hunk smiles
don't forget to pout
lose the husband in the crowd
put on your elegant face
pretend that you are a princess
a prince you've come to chase
have a flirt then run a mile
slurp the wine and have a cig
and go home with a smile

My Easter eggs have been eaten
and it has been duly noted
that nothing fits around my waist
as I am well and truly bloated !

But what the heck, it only comes
around this way once a year
So now a diet of fruit and veg
is on my plate, no fear

As I have to fit in a ball gown soon
for daughters 40th 'do'
an Oscars night she has ordered
Oh goodness..what a to do.

Grandaughter took me shopping
for a dress and strappy heels
lots of bling and silky gloves
Do you know how that feels?

I am usually in my jeans and
a sloppy tee shirt all day long
So while I am trying ever so hard
The whole thing feels so wrong !

alas i cannot have flowers
all though i love them dear
they make me sneeze
and only an orchid
ever seems to please

Stella, that sounds better
than driving for hours !
I had no eggs............
but got beautiful flowers !

so pleased you saw the children
and had a happy day
yes roadworks are a nuisance
and always in the way
i didn't venture far this easter
it was too cold to go out
i ate my eggs in comfort
and then just lazed about
in asda eggs are all reduced
i might pay another call
buy some more and gorge myself
and not share any at all

back again, safe & sound,
and back at work today.
it was a short but pleasant trip
& not a bad drive, I have to say.

Road works were the worst thing,
"average speed" cams on motorways
m25 & m4 a pain
& the works are going both ways !

when I get there I get out out of the car
to look at the tide & the sea.
the air is bracing after that drive
& always feels good to me !

then I head on to my son & co
for a much needed cup of tea,
& see the `children` (who are bigger than me!)
& I am as happy as can be !!
