There is an Ann Stewart b 1841 in glasgow lanarkshire, a domestic servant living at 2 St james' Terrac, Govan in the employ of a Mr Robert McPherson who has a 6 month old son called james.
Source Citation: Parish: Govan; ED: 4; Page: 18; Line: 15; Roll CSSCT1871_143; Year: 1871.

O.K you lot, stop arguing and find my brick wall just to keep you out of trouble.
Ann Stewart d.o.b.1841 in Glasgow.on the 1851 census she is living with her grandmother Margaret Mitchell nee Oliphant , Ann's surname on this census is Mitchell, on the 1861 census she is still with grandma but with surname Stewart.
Her parents are Alexander Stewart and Margaret nee Mitchell.
