lol susan, i was nervous on my first meet, but then i hadnt been on gr long,

butt hen i had me mam with me and marion n peggy who are more like family than friends, so i new i was gona be ok,

i was shocked tat TW,BC and Hayley hadnt met before it hought tehy had, but then i thought loads had met before, because of the way they were on the boards, and was shocked to find some hadnt met ever, xxx

i would love to come to meet, i feel as though i know you , sort of, but worried that you won't know me:(
thats what puts me off, although ive been a member for a long time, im not "prolific" and not well known.

I won't repeat what she shouted at the poor driver of a car, who had refused to stop just because BC decided she was going to cross the road, traffic or not......but there were a few choice words. This was on the way back to the station that night.

I personally think meets should be for everyone; After all, how do Newbies get to join in?

I doubt very much that someone who has been a pain in the neck to most people would attend and if they did it wouldn't do them much good, so there is no real point in telling them they are not wanted....IMO.

It does make me wonder though, if newbies may watch the boards and not want to join in....'we' know each other and know who to avoid....we also know when others are joking or not......but, I honestly think the meets threads are off putting if you don't know the people on them.

It was a disgusting colour anyway...the coat that is.

I SAID MUSTARD YOU SAID YELLOW, and her hair is orange and she shouted "gurls" LOL

She did, as we saw the red errr..titian hair at the OTHER END OF THE PLATFORM......we ran to her, she held her arms out and shouted 'GIRLS!' while we threw ourselves at her.

This was after we had spend 30 mins standing on the wrong platform to wait for her

And the woman's coat was MUSTARD!

Then BC shouted that she had left her weed on the train....in front of a dozen policemen....we didn't know where to look, neither did they LOL

Sorry I am just remebering the first time TW and I met BC on the train station, PMSL, we had a row over the colour of a womens coat I blamed Teresa for putting BC on the wrong train, the train pulled up with about 12 carriages I sadi TW you look left and I wll look right I had 2 carriages TW had the other 8, we ran to BC like she was our long lost Aunt coming home from the war and threw ourselves at her, its was so nice,

Lol TW, I know, me too...... I was mesmerised.....Dunno what I expected.... a little old lady with a madonna bra, tartan shopping trolley full of Baileys..... and mismatched leggings on, lolol........ soooooooo far from the truth!!

my this thread has moved quickly while I've been looking at census' lol...

I think I would like to meet some of the people that I haven't been particularly close to on here so they can see i am 'normal'...lolol

Oh, I forgot, and I went to one in Liverpool, which was when Keith wore a kilt in order to raise money for cancer research.
And an extremely kind lady called Beryl and her husband met me from the airport, took me to my hotel, treated me to lunch and took me round Liverpool to see the sights and back to their home for tea; I haven't "seen" her here for ages.

I won't forget the first time BC came along. Hayley and I were so awestruck with her we forgot to talk to everyone else for ages LOL

haha yeah kay, somtimes ya get chatting to one person for so long, ya dont get roud to everyone, you would like to, or get to chat for as long as you would like xxxx
