I wonder if Casey will ever be happy. Never known a kid to have so many dramas, apart from Heath, but not more said there, lol.
How do these people get out of gaol so easily, if that was me I would have been locked up.
I agree the Pippa storyline is a bit heavy. I have never heard of a Mitochondrial Disease Awareness Week. Lots of diseases affect the mitochondria and it is different for adults. I am on a new medication developed by the professor who discovered the Gulf War Syndrome. I have been on it 4 weeks now and no improvement. I just keep getting one autoimmune disease after the other. I guess it might take a bit of time to kick in.
Also Tamara Walton from the old Blue Healers is coming into the show and seems Indi is leaving too. I guess her time has come to an end without Romeo.

Hello Marion and Kim. Nice to see you posting here and to know that all is well with you both. Kim - I am interested in what you say about the illness. It seems that H&A have introduced it into the show to make people aware that it exists. To be honest, I had never heard of it myself and have not known anyone to suffer from it. From what I have learned since H&A introduced it, it seems that the earlier it is detected, the better chance of fighting it, although there is as yet, no known cure. Whilst I think it is a bit OTT for a show which is watched by so many youngsters, us older viewers can learn from it and perhaps watch for the symptoms and help others to identify them at an early stage. If you don't mind talking about it, I would like to know how it affects you.
Marion - your H&A has gone into recess for a few weeks, so poor old Brax will be unconscious for quite a while (lol)... He dreams of Charlie in his unconscious state - there are three brief scenes (one in each of three episodes) - done quite nicely - and there is no mention of her when he comes out of it - but he seems to be ready to get on with his life - with Ricky. Her trial started last night - after her brother got 25yrs-life for his part in it and I understand that Tamara's memory comes back in flashes while giving testimony. Not much has happened in between other than Sally coming home with her daughter, Pippa, who has the Mitochondrial desease - and of course, the usual love triangles with the young ones.

Hi all, very unseasonal 23 degrees here today. Lots happening on the show. I can tell you that little Pippa has the same type of illness that I have, now 18 years on.
Life is as complex as ever with the Braxtons, always dramas for Heath and Bianca. I wonder if Irene is getting sick again and now Sid has gone, we have no doctor in the role yet.
Kyle is also going to be appearing on another show "Formal Wars" as someone's date, so just a cameo appearance I believe.
VJ has grown a lot and Leah is still a motor mouth, haha. Hope you are all well.

I, too, noticed how much VJ had grown up since we last saw him. Now, we have Sally back this week and her daughter, Pippa, with her, looks around 11. Viewers are getting confused because we have heard so much about Kate Ritchie (Sally) being "gone for five years", that they think everyone in the show should be five years older. The storyline is not quite clear on that, but it seems that "Sally" has been away for longer than five years. Kate's and Sally's absences may not necessarily be the same.

That was going on during the week that we had our problem when last-minute changes had to be made by the TV (26th June), so you must be about three weeks behind us at the moment. Your summer recess will put you further behind but then, we have a 6 to 8 week recess in Dec/Jan. That will bring it back to about what it is now. I agree, Kim. The way they did Charlie's visit to Brax in his dreams was good. Nothing has been said about it since he recovered, but he seems to be able to move on now - and it looks like he is moving on with Ricky. I think the brothers should all move away in different directions!

Hi Berona, yes doctor's in Sydney and it takes me about a month to get over it. Hate being ill, 18 years now. The father's eldest son killed them and my son played cricket with the dad. It has been such a sad time. Great community spirit to raise all that money, but as you said the trauma will last a lifetime.
I really enjoyed the scenes of Brax with Charlie. I think it was done very well. I'm not a fan of Ricky though and Casey is beginning to grate too. Ruffo is back next month, more bad acting. :-S

Hello Kim. Good to hear from you. I was wondering if everything is OK with you. I saw an item about those two kids earlier and tonight, another telling of the amount that was raised for them. The kids were overwhelmed - but I suppose it won't take away the trauma of seeing their parents killed.
I believe the UK has a recess very soon, like we have over the Christmas period, so I wonder where it will end? I think Brax has been shot (right, Marion?) so it will probably stop with him being in a coma, and they will have to wait until it starts up again to see Charlie appear to him in his dreams whilst he is unconscious. I was amazed to learn of the amount of people in other countries who watch this show on the Internet. However, it also seems that there are rogue sites who have been downloading (or uploading?) it illegally. Some sites have been shut down.

We are losing so many characters. Thought Tamara would definitely go, but now she is staying to be with a Braxton. I'd much rather be on the farm.
Another major change for our doctor, who is one of the better characters.
My son went to a fundraiser last Saturday night for a couple of children who's parents were stabbed to death here on the Coast where I live. Marty ? the Adam character was the auctioneer. He is a realtor and auctioneer at Terrigal when he is not acting. They raised many thousands of dollars for this very good cause, poor little kids having to witness mum and dad being killed. I hope the money will help to provide for their futures. They are currently living with the grandparents.
I expect we will have Sally and her daughter back next week. Wonder where that leaves Bianca? Will she be deputy at the school?
Hope everyone is well and for those in the northern hemisphere, enjoying some good summer weather. It is quite chilly here, but today has been sunny. :-)

Where are you up to now, Marion? I believe the program goes into recess for about a month very soon for you. Has Brax been shot yet? It will be interesting to see if they leave you with a "cliff-hanger". Ours will continue on and possibly get further ahead of you, but then, ours has a break from the end of November to the beginning of February, when a new season starts. Recently, Leah returned. She took maternity leave and was written out by sending her for a trip to Greece to get away from Jamie, who was stalking her. I think you would be past that by now. Anyway, she returned with VJ and it was so noticeable how the boy had grown in those few months that we have not seen them. We see Sally back in the show within the next week. She has been gone for five years. Tried radio work and TV presentation of a show, but I don't think it worked so she is back to acting, although they say, not for long. We'll see what happens.

Hope you enjoyed your holiday Marion. Where did you go? I believe the weather has been quite hot. Did this affect you?
When you get back to viewing again, if you need to be brought up to date, just let us know. We are back to normal again now. It seems that there was a lot of illegal uploading going on with this show and people from other countries have been watching it on those sites - one of which has been shut down. I was amazed at the amount of people from other countries who watch it on their computers and phones - just to know what happens next! Some are only a couple of weeks behind us - but they can't wait! Or maybe they like to show off to their friends. I am happier watching it on the big screen of my TV - and I'm not so wrapped up in the show that I can't wait to see what happens next!

We have finally caught up after the upset last week. I have decided to edit this post as I said too much about the story and anyone who enjoys surprises would not appreciate me saying as much as I did. Last week's upset with our TV networks has brought to light the fact that there are a number of websites who have been uploading H&A illegally. I don't know what it involves, but it may have caused a lot of the problems. I understand at least one website has been shut down. People were freely giving out 'links' on the H&A website for those who missed episodes. I tried one of the links and my computer blocked it with a message that it contained malicious content. I didn't need it anyway, I didn't miss any episodes. I just wanted to see if it was different. I hope people are not having computer problems because of it and I hope our friends on here watch it on their TV sets! It's the impatient ones who are mostly concerned - but why??? It's tough when a soapie gets you in that much, isn't it?

Kim - hope your health is improving. I see you've had a lot of rain up your way. It has been raining heavily in Sydney too, but not where I am - just the odd light shower or two. I still have to water my pot plants.
Last Wednesday, our Prime Minister (Julia Gillard) announced suddenly that at 7pm there would be a vote taken within her political party regarding her position. This threw the TV networks into chaos as they had no warning and they re-arranged to allow a '15 minute' interruption - which stretched to more like an hour - and caused more chaos. Since H & A is shown at 7pm, we were first told it would be on at 7.30, then we didn't see it anyway. It was since made up for us with double episodes and we had four episodes last week and are having six episodes this week. Not so easy for the regional districts - they are still trying to make up for the lost time and because there is a rule that the episodes will not be available on the internet until they are shown in ALL states of Australia - we now find just how many people from other countries, watch it on the net, on Daily Motion. It's amazing just how many people in other countries do watch it. They are coming to light, wanting to know what's going on because they can't get their "fix" of H&A.!! For the record, Julia was defeated and we now have our former Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, back in the top seat - at least until the next election, which should be sometime in the next three months or so.

Hic hic Marion, lol. Yes Sally is coming back and will be the same actress. I'm thinking she will be offered the principal's job or if they keep Bianca in that role maybe she will just go back to teaching.

Hi all, health not great. All hell breaking loose here with our government so no episode on Wednesday night, but caught up with the one hour on Thursday.
Got to feel for Casey at the moment. I hope Kyle can stay strong, would not want the brothers torn apart by some silly girl.
VJ and Leah are finally back, along with Irene. Some dramas there, another girl involved. I can vaguely remember some dramas a couple of years back with this girl. Looks like she's still out to cause mischief.
Sally is due to make her reappearance any day. Was glad to see her go before. I hope the writers have got a decent storyline for her.
Hope you are all well, it has been bucketing down here for the last few days. Have a good weekend.
