I know how you feel. I can't pay attention to the old series either. I just look for the actors. Marilyn is in the one I watch and she was walking dolly steps in high heels then - also spoke with the high-pitched squeak which she has never learned to control in all this time.

Danny made Casey come with him to rob the hotel. He also ordered him to shoot the barman, but Casey shot Danny instead. Now, Danny has been 'eliminated' from the show (didn't last long, did he?), and Casey faces a murder charge.

I think you can get buried in your own garden but have to be so far down and so far away from any water/burn/river etc.
I've got two cats in my garden,maybe I should join them when time comes lol.

Hello Allan. Nice to see you again. One of the new off-shoot chanels here, shows H&A (1990 version) here each morning. I tape it and FF through it now and again to see if I can recognise any of the actors. In doing so, I have an idea of the plot, although I don't watch properly to get details. Quite often, the plot is the same or similar to what is going on in the current version.

Kim - thanks for your comments on cemeteries. I know of old graves on outlying properties, but as soon as churches were built in townships, their property was used until cemeteries were established. I suppose if you have as much dosh and influence as Kerry had, the rules can be 'altered' to suit.

Berona I said the exact thing to the family. You're not allowed to get buried willy nilly on cliff tops, etc. Noah is also buried up there somewhere too. A few ashes have been scattered from up there.

Kerry Packer is buried on his own property, but usually special permission is needed and there were lots of old family cemeteries on their own properties back in the old days.

Yes more murder and mayhem to come. Well overdue for a natural disaster.

I see that the writers are using old scripts again.

Thanks for your input, Merlin. I was referring to Australia when I said I only know of burials first, in churchyards in the early times, until cemeteries were created and in them ever since then. I might be wrong - but I don't trust H&A's writers either.

I like your version of the meaning of Home and Away. I feel that it is a stepping off place for young actors. They stay in Summer Bay until they get a better acting offer, then they are off and AWAY!

I think we are back in the little room where Charlie died. Incidentally, I didn't know it was possible to bury people in odd places these days? Is it? I noticed that Charlie is buried on the edge of a cliff - as was the policeman who was shot by Angelo. I have never known of anyone being buried elsewhere other than in a cemetery, except for the very early years of our country. Am I right? or is this another one of the writers' ideas?

Sgt. Watson has now taken Ruby away. She's in big trouble! Tampered with the car to cause the accident. Meant it for Indi but changed her mind - too late.

Poor Dex :-( :-( Sid is playing his part so well at the moment. Not a bad actor, just storylines let him down at times. That Ruby, she's got to be locked up or mental illness will rear it's ugly head when it comes to justice (or injustice).

Barbra - if you add GR's name to your 'Compatability view', you should get your emoticons back. Don't know which version of Windows you are using, but mine is accessible through 'Page' on same status bar as 'favourites', 'home', etc. Try it.

I haven't seen Darryl in anything else as yet. He was awarded for 'most popular new talent' (or something like that) at the last annual awards, so might be fairly new on the acting scene.

Yep! It was Indi's car - but Dex was driving. Seems like it had been tampered with and Dex is in a bad way.

Yes Marion. He's not a very nice man at all. He is still trying to get Charlie's insurance out of Ruby and Casey said he wouldn't help him, so that's the thanks he got. Nice Dad.

Darryl sent the mother away because Dad wants the money he left behind when he went to gaol and she had spent it over the years, so Darryl did a 'job' and got some money, but now Dad wants to stay around until he gets the lot, so Darryl is about to do another job. Maybe he will get caught! I can't see him staying with H&A for very long before he gets a better offer.

You might be right Kim. Ruby has talked of going away. I did hear of her and Romeo being an off-screen item, so if they still are together, they might have plans away from H&A.
