At the moment here, there is a run on cooking programs, and chefs are being presented as demi-gods. .I'm sure it is only some kind of competition between two of the commercial chanels.
Yesterday, I clicked onto the menu on my TV and on one chanel, it showed eight time-slots - five of which were cooking programs - either new or repeats.
I then clicked down on the next eight time-slots and there were three more of them!
I like looking at a cooking program - but there is a limit to how many I can watch!
A rival chanel doesn't have that many of them, but insists on giving us whole scenes of 'what's coming up next' - even if we only have to wait five minutes for the actual program to start. One of them is turning a cooking competition into a circus by piecing the competitor's comments together to mean nasty comments about each other - just to spice it up a bit.....

Brax is broken hearted, because the one he wants, doesn't want him. She loves him - but..... (another one who can't make up her mind).

Jet is meant to be 13, just started high school.

I think Angelo helped Martha and Hugo escape and then after police investigations and setting up his restaurant which he sold to Brax, he eventually formed a relationship with Nicole and went off to the city with her and her baby. I don't believe he will be back as he is busy with X-Factor duties.

I do miss Roman, another good actor. He's been appearing in an advert. lately, still as hunky as ever.

My memory is dim about past stories, too. As I recall, it was Angelo who accidentally shot Martha's husband and he wasn't popular after that. I thought he transferred to the 'city', to write him out of the show. He does quite a good job of presenting X-Factor, so I don't think he'll be back in Summer Bay.
Another 'hunk' who was written out was Roman (blonde curly hair, broad shoulders) when he was forced by an old army buddy to do a hold-up - or something like that. I missed one episode and he was gone - so I never found out what happened. I assumed he went to gaol. However, he has been in 'Sea Patrol' and cuts quite a figure in that. It seems to have finished now, so I don't know what he is doing these days. I did see him in one of our 'underworld' series, but he didn't have much of a part in it.

Berona we don't get any hail here, it tends to blow out to sea. I think we are sheltered too, but get the strong winds and torrential rain. I don't think our back creek would flood in a million years.

Bianca, she's getting on my t***s. I can't take this backwards and forwards. It makes me dizzy like I'm on a roundabout. Her storyline is running out of puff too.

Well yes you can console Brax and Liam and I'll take over Kyle. He's a bit younger, just my type lol.

I wish it would rain here - properly. It misses my area. We seem to be in a kind of trough, where we had a mighty storm about fifteen years ago - and only our area copped it. Since then, everywhere else gets the rain and flooding and we don't get it. I see on TV that Sydney has had a deluge - and also Penrith - and yet, I am in between them and I'm lucky to get a drizzle!....weird.

So Heath has finally proposed marriage - and Bianca was annoyed because he changed his mind about marriage!....Changed his mind???....Who better than Bianca would know what it's like to change their mind? Now, she has changed her mind again and accepted - but they're only engaged. Anything could happen - unless the writers leave them alone and do something about Brax. He's on his own again.....Poor Brax. I would love to console him!

I think Liam is stealing to send money off to his son. Now he's no longer manager there's been a drop in pay thanks to Heath.

They have cleaned up Kyle's profile and yes he is very good looking. I wish I knew where Brax is headed in all this. Last few episodes have been so boring, we need some action back in the show. I guess Casey will be another beating when he goes back to the prison.

It must be time for Leah to come back soon seeing as Jamie is locked up. I can wait for that to happen, no hurry.

We seem to have had a few new young ones introduced to the show this season.
You've seen Maddie, and there are some younger girls wearing the school uniform. One is bullying Jett and another is 'clinging' to Sasha. I have noticed how handsome the new boys are. I think Kyle, Spencer and Jett are all extremely good looking young men. Their acting ability is quite good too, so I can see them getting offers elsewhere before very long.
I know that Johnny Ruffo is coming into H&A soon. He is a singer and was runner-up on X-Factor last year. He hasn't stopped working since and he, too, is nice looking.
Remember Angelo? He seems to be a permanent fixture as presenter of X-Factor, these days.
Leah is presenting other programs too. She presents "Please Marry my Son" and also as a roving Restaurant reporter - as well as commercials.

I really don't know how the Braxton boys can be nice with their limited education and the mother and father both like they are/were.

We are now into the third day of Autumn and are having typical weather for the season....showers and temps of hot one day, cooler the next. The fires have abated but the floods up north are still bad. Thousands of people in lower Queensland and northern NSW are still waiting to be able to get back to their homes and some rivers are still rising. The weather bureau has informed us that we had the hottest January on record. .. Don't know if we should feel good or bad about that - but I suppose it's nice to know. LOL.

We have had some lovely sunny days,a wee bit chilly but dry.

We have been getting plenty of the young couple, pretending to be brother and sister, but who have run away from over-bearing parents, who 'know what's best' for their children. They went back home to their parents, but have turned up in Summer Bay again, a second time.

Oh dear. Not my Liam!...Kyle has caught Liam with his hand in the till. Liam says he is owed overtime.....Time for Brax to get it sorted! I hope the writers don't turn Liam into a villain - he's too nice.... They are turning Heath into a nice guy and he has actually proposed to Bianca after Celia had a few words with him. For once, Celia has spoken some sense. She too, seems to be doing a 'turn-around'.

You are not as far behind us as I thought you were, Marion. I wonder if they 'skip' a little now and then to get ahead? We have a 'catchup' of H&A on Sunday afternoons, when all five episodes are run together and I've noticed that sometimes there are scenes missing. They are unimportant scenes, or just part of a scene, editted to fit the time-slot.
Yes, Indi does cut a neat figure in a bikini and I think the producers are assisting her in her quest to break into the modelling business. I have noticed before, how some of the actors get a lot of air-time in the show, then, next thing we know, they have gone out of H&A and onto something better. It's a good "stepping stone" for actors. It is also shown at 7pm, immediately after the evening news and current affairs programs, so a lot of people see it, even if they are not bothering to follow it. That's how I got started watching it. They usually have a good program following H&A, so the viewers just leave it on.

Kate Ritchie has just started working as Sally again. They are taping the shows now - so we won't see her until later in the year.........I can wait.

Not a lot happening at the moment, but Heath is not doing a good job of looking after the restaurant. He is still trying to contact Brax, but to no avail.
What's Heath's problem? He is nasty to everyone.

p.s. Saw glimpses of next week's episodes - and BRAX was there!
