H&A is shown at 7pm, immediately following the evening news and current affairs, which most people like to watch. They then leave it on and see H&A whether interested or not. I think that's how I got into following it. The young promising actors then become familiar and get better offers. The also get slotted into Dancing with the Stars to become better known.

I didn't know you had Bondi Vet on in the UK? Is it worth looking at? Whenever it starts, I switch chanels because I love all animals and I can't stand to see them ill or hurt. Even though I know the one in the show will get better with the vet's attention, I still don't like to see it in pain.

Yes we get it,not sure what time its on,I flicked through the channela the other day and it was there.
I watch a lot of animal programmes.It is sad some of the cases but then its great to see them made well.

Bondi Vet - he's gorgeous I just watch it to see him, but the animals are wonderful too. We have had this conversation before. He's a hunk!!!!! I think someone mentioned having their belly rubbed by him - that might have been you Barbra or was it Marion, probably both, haha!!!

Not enjoying the storyline on H & A at the moment, wandered away a few times tonight. Brax is back tomorrow night, that should be more interesting. The Walker family are going through more dramas - what pains they are :-(

Barbra, melanoma capital. They still go for the tan and I was always covered in Reef Oil (Coconut) in my young and silly days. I have very fair skin, so no bronze for me :-) They are trying to ban tanning salons over here because there have been a few cases of cancer (fatal in some instances). Mostly fake tans these days, but that seems to be losing followers too. Girls seem to be going back to looking more natural - about time.

I knew it was you that wanted a belly tickle, shame he's so far away at Bondi ;-)

Very eventful H & A tonight. Brax was in it, so that always makes for good viewing :-) Too much has happened to fill you in, roll on September when it starts again in the UK.

Had a powecut lastnight,you dont realise how much you depend on electricity till it's not there.

Watched most of BB at sons house,and it was too late to be bothered looking in.

Had a really busy day in the garden,so I'm in need of a comfy seat.


Kim.... Skin cancer is on the increase in Scotland too all us fair skinned folk trying to look brown.

Merlin yes its still on the go,Had a break for the so called summer but its due on next month again.

Not much happening at the moment. Don't know why they brought Sid's wife into it - not much happened there - and a paternity question came up and went away again. Not very exciting.

Those of you who aren't getting H&A at the moment, are not missing much.
Don't know if the writers are stuck for ideas, but another paternity issue has come up. This time it's Sid's turn and looks like the writers have thought of something to introduce another youngster into the crew.

Sid and Roo are OFF and Bianca and Liam are OFF - at the moment.

In the little that is going on Brax got stabbed, so a war is hotting up with the River Boys and the other crew with that blonde haired minx Teagen in the middle. He's ok back surfing after 5 minutes, but I suppose the saltwater is meant to heal the wound, lol.

Xavier has taken off too to be with his latest love. Indy and Romeo have moved back to Sid's and as you heard Sid's got another daughter from one of his deceased old flames, who is coming to live with them.

Miles and Leah are still on, although it looked shakey for a minute there.

I foget the old actors in it. Its not till you see an old one,you remember them.Maybe not their story line but their face.

I look in occasionally on the 1989 version, which I didn't watch originally.
The school master Fisher, is being blackmailed by Bobby's real father over a shooting accident.
Alf is younger and thinner of course. Marilyn is engaged to Lance. I don't recognise any of the young men or their names. Don't know what happened to them.
Ailsa (Judy Nunn) is recognisable. I started watching at around the time that she was written out of the show - to become a very successful writer in real life.
I must say that the acting of to-day is better than it was then. It's a good 'launching pad' for actors with talent and ambition.

Our verion of X-Factor starts again this week - with Lou Jacobz (Angelo) as the presenter. He is always pleasant to watch.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Charlie. Brax has told her to get out of the force and she says she can't give it up. Her boss knows she is 'connected' to Brax, so she has to tread carefully.
