I can't say I've noticed the birds so I'll pay more attention and see if I can tell you. Those are the sounds we hear wherever there are a lot of trees and it usually involves a few different kinds of birds, not necessarily parrots.

Hi all, haven't tuned in for a while.
Some of you are ahead of us in the story lines I think. We have had the Alf/Penne story line this week and Marilyn has just been given her date of death.

I remember Roo (Alf's daughter) from years ago....as far as I can remember, she was a spoilt brat and was horrible to her piers. I can just remember her face, had fair hair bobbed a little, if I remember correctly. She was a teenager back then, but I can't remember how she went out of it, I know she moved out of Australia, and her name has been brought up over the years by Alf. It will be nice to see how she is brought back into it. Dare say it will be a new actress when she appears back in the series.

If Marilyn will be going out of it soon, I wonder if she will come back to UK and appear back in Emmerdale? Time will tell, I guess?

I dont think Marylin will die, its too unlikely, unless it is a car accident. Fed up with the Penne story, its too ridiculous. Wonder who will win, Vittorio or Liam? Would be nice to see Miles settled with someone, though I know batchelors can survive on their own!

Went to edit a post I had put on here and it disappeared into the ether. Not worth remebering what I was saying now!. Who will win, Vittorio or Liam? Marilyns death must be a joke, I cant see it happening. She and Sid would make a stable older couple for this series.

Georgie Parker is taking the part of Roo. Haven't seen her yet, but she is a well-known actress, constantly on TV or stage. I would have thought that moving into H&A would be going backwards for her, but she may not last long.
Vittorio or Liam? Again, I suppose the writers need to know who is available before they write the story!
I'm waiting to see Marilyn trip over and break her leg because she wears high heels all the time - on rough ground in the park and on the beach. She must be very short - wears her hair high too - all to make her look taller?

Marilyn and her heels.....I was amazed the other week when she walked along the pier and not once got her heel cought in the gaps. I wonder if there were a few takes of that part or,if she is so good on her heels

My DIL's mum has owned a cabin for many many years. It is like a caravan park - but no caravans. Same set-up and rules, but all permanent cabins.
We were discussing H&A yesterday and I asked DIL if she had ever worn high heels in the park? She thought for a while and then said, "yes, I probably did when I was young and silly"
I suppose that blew my argument about Marilyn!

If Roo had fair hair, we don't have the same Roo. This one is dark haired and seems to be Martha's mother.
Apparently, she was a lot of trouble for her parents when she was younger but is older and wiser now, although Colleen can't forget and doesn't know how to forget the past. I just wish the writers could get some new ideas. This one appears to have no money, like John's daughter. Is that the only reason they come back to Summer Bay?

It still isn't certain who Bianca will end up with. Just as she is ready to tell Vittorio that she loves Liam, Liam has turned up - with a girl friend.

I'm still trying to learn about the birds. The show is filmed in Palm Beach, Sydney, so I suppose the birds would be the same as we have here. Lots of Noisy Miners, Doves, Pigeons, sparrows, starlings, finches (Willy wagtails)., magpies, crows, and of course, seagulls. Also, in various parts of Sydney we have Lorikeets, Red Rosellas,Galahs, Sulpher Crested cockatoos. They may not all be around at the same time, it depends on the weather. I'll try to find out more about them.

Mornrning . a lot of birds in oz they seem really noisy the ones Home & Away . we are a bit behind with liam story he has just rode out of town & left bianca .Marilyn & her shoes well the heels are high . remember them as a teenager / sugered underskirts & stilleto heels . not anymore . !! i enjoy the stories with john & zavier & Alf . they need mature people in the prog to balance it up .might get better ?? ~~~~~~~hya Marion Bye to All

Colin seems to think that it would be sound effects, anyway. Maybe that's why they sound like the birds I hear whenever I go near places where there are lots of trees. He suggested Butcher Birds, Currawongs and Ibis to add to those I mentioned. They move around according to the weather, and head inland when there is rain on the coast.
I live app. 20 miles from the beaches in Sydney and whenever there has been torrential rain, we see seagulls in our parks and fooball fields.
Of course, I should have mentioned the Cicardas. In hot weather, their droning can be deafening.

I've got the Xfactor on again,cant believe that plonker Wager is still in it.What an insult to an Elvis song. At leat it wasnt an American Trilogy he murdered.
