Berona Report 27 Nov 2012 22:09

Yes, it seems that we will get our cliff-hanger. I haven't gone right into it to see what's going on, but just the daily gossip of 'what's on tonight' tells us that someone is in a boat and is left to float out to sea.

Since we won't be seeing it again for ten weeks - that's a long time to be floating around in an open boat

It was a nice wedding and Alf put Celia in her place, telling her that everything was OK "until you zoomed in here on your broomstick and upset everybody". I don't remember her saying a word at the wedding! She has aged, but I suppose we all have!

Berona Report 28 Nov 2012 10:35

Well, in spite of getting three episodes in one, we didn't get a lot of action.
I'm not spoiling it for you to let you know that it's Heath who is floating in the rowboat - we could see what was going to happen. However, we also saw that there is a hole in the boat, too!!!

In the meantime, Darryl wakes up to Adam, who he admired until now. Looks like both Adam and his son, Jamie, are both 'twisted'. John speaks his mind and tells Darryl the Braxtons are all 'trouble', and Bianca cries because Heath doesn't want her. That's it, for us, until early February.

Hi all.

Adam and Jamie? who are they Berona?

Berona

Berona Report 28 Nov 2012 21:43

Jamie is a young man who took to Leah. He is much younger than Leah, but she went on a date with him and took him home for the night, after which, she came to her senses, but he has been stalking her since, until she took VJ and left town.

Adam arrived when Casey's case was being tried and helped out with the financial cost, etc. He is an old 'friend' of Darryl's (like a mentor when their father was in gaol), but Adam has had something ulterior in mind, which Darryl couldn't see. Turns out, that Adam is Jamie's father. Both weidos. Heath could see through Adam, so Adam has ordered Jamie to get rid of Heath - hence casting him off in the rowboat after hitting him in the head with a crowbar.

Casey still can't decide between Sasha and Tamara (who saved his life in the desert), so he walked away from both of them and is doing his part-time gaol detention.

What am I going to do until Feb.? :(

I read Charlie is supposed to come back from the dead next year. I don't think she has been doing too well as an actress overseas. Now someone else came back from the dead, was it Jack or Angelo?? Witness protection.

Adam is very nasty and threatening and Jamie his son is a loose canon, a total loophead. Dad has been known to blacken his eye and cut his lip. A very bad egg, worse than the River Boys.

I love the way Alf handles Celia's moods, plus having Colleen back on the scene too, silly old chook.

Hi there.

Well,Rocco has been found in his crib :-(.
Loved the way Bianca spoke to the 'mother from hell' Heaths mother.

lol Kim 'silly old chook.(not you, they way you described Coleen lol)

Barbra Report 30 Nov 2012 12:33

Well i am lost with all these new folks :-D glad Heaths mother has gone after her short visit .looks like a very sad time coming up with baby rocco .being found in his cot .~~~~~Take care all Barbra

Berona Report 30 Nov 2012 23:40

We had a week of episodes before the baby's funeral. It is so sad to see Heath carrying the little coffin. Scenes like that must upset people who have had similar losses.

We had the funeral shown on 12th Oct. I am able to remember because I had a relative's funeral on the same day, so when I say "have the tissues ready", perhaps I was feeling vulnerable that evening. You might not be as affected as I was.
Yes, Mrs. Braxton didn't stay around for long. She actually looked more 'human' just before she left.

I remember Charlie dying. Also Jack - but I don't remember what happened to Angelo. I thought he transferred somewhere else. Anyway, he is compere of XFactor these days. I can't see him returning to H&A.

The only one I can think of who might fit the bill, is Hugo - Gina's eldest son. He was supposed to be dead and made his escape with Martha.
Or perhaps, Leah's second husband - who was 'killed' whilst working in the US.

Oh dear.....now I am thwarted! (do you like that word?). I am in REAL trouble.
Tuned in this morning to look at the 1991 version of H&A and found that it's gone into recess too!!!!.... What am I going to do?

From the gossip I've read, looks like you Brits have a short recess over Christmas/New Year, then will continue with the current series until early February. That's when the next season starts here.....Poor old Heath will be bobbing around in the rowboat for a long time! However, a clip on the Internet shows that big brother must be a very strong swimmer, considering that the rowboat is a long way off shore.....but it looks like it's Darryl to the rescue.

MarionfromScotland Report 3 Dec 2012 08:02

Hi

Time will soon pass Berona. We usually watch the news when it's off.
So it's Darryl to the rescue. The superman of the Bay lol

Berona

Berona Report 3 Dec 2012 08:12

He can come and rescue me any time!

And if Darryl can't make it - send Liam!

Oh to be 30 years younger! (or 40, or 50).

We haven't had much to look at all year, since the chanels went digital and opened up new chanels. They must be buying the cheapest shows and they are nothing but rubbish!

The news is the only thing worth looking at and that's full of politics and riots. Very depressing.

MEgirl Report 4 Dec 2012 08:30

Marion I do think of myself as a silly old chook sometimes, but have not reached Colleen's level, lol.

I mute the news when anything political comes on as it just upsets me. It was lovely to see that the Royal couple are expecting.

Yes the shows are terrible with the occasional good documentary thrown in. I wish they would put a few good movies on.

Good old Darryl, but I would like to see him with some happiness in his life instead cleaning up after his brothers. Just some peaceful storylines for him and maybe a love interest, esp. if Charlie is meant to come back.

The loss of Rocco was very moving. I wasn't expecting that at all, although he'd been through a lot in his short life. :-(

MarionfromScotland

MarionfromScotland Report 4 Dec 2012 09:37

You can dream Berona...Brax running along a beach in his speedos going to rescue you from a puddle lol.

Kim maybe Berona could take him under her wing lol

Berona

Berona Report 5 Dec 2012 03:05

I would love to.

One problem - I would look upon him as a lover and he would look upon me as a grandma!..... not exactly what I had in mind.

MarionfromScotland

MarionfromScotland Report 5 Dec 2012 07:24

Best stick to you dreams the Berona.

But rememmer the saying 'The older the fiddle, the better the tune'
Some tunes might not be so good though lol

What you got planned for xmas?Beach BBQ maybe.
The way things are going here it will be 'chilly'

MEgirl

MEgirl Report 5 Dec 2012 07:47

My thoughts exactly Marion, we can have our dreams haha. Yes he'd see me as a mother figure and that's no good either.

Our weather is all over the place. Hot and then cool, dry and windy and then humid. I hope Christmas Day won't be overly warm. We are going to our friends for a cold lunch in the backyard or inside if it's raining. I'm not in the mood due to my lack of health. I just can't get motivated and the tree's not up yet. Something to do on the weekend.

Berona

Berona Report 5 Dec 2012 08:35

Nothing different from usual for me. The family will be together at son's house this year. They have a pool, if anyone feels like using it, but they also have air conditioning too, so that's where I'll be.... indoors!

After that, they all go away and leave me. it's holiday season on this side of the world. Schools close for about six weeks - many factories close, and people take their annual leave whether to go away or just be at home with the family. There are plenty of things to do, particularly for those who live in the city.

Mine leave the city and go away to their caravans, which are on site on the Hawkesbury River at a couple of different caravan parks. They are all water-skiers and all have ski boats, so keep busy with skiing and fishing. I used to go up for the day to be with them, but these days, I am happy to stay at home. I'm quite happy with my own company. I am going to add a couple of shelves to my built-in wardrobe - so I need to re-arrange everything, throwing out and making room for newer purchases. I will need to spread out for this, so I take the opportunity of (hopefully) having no visitors, so that I can make a big mess as I reorganise.

Kim - sounds like you might be happy with a quiet Christmas too. I hope your health improves. Are you planning anything in particular after the BBQ?

What about others? Those of you over on the cold side of the world. What are your plans for the festive season?

MarionfromScotland Report 5 Dec 2012 12:05

Weather permitting we will go visit my mil and fil,and also my son and his family.
Another son and wife and the wee one will be here for xmas dinner in the pm sometime.

Berona

Berona Report 5 Dec 2012 22:38

That's nice, Marion. I always think of Christmas as a time for family. It is one time when most people have time off work and are available to get together. However -having said that, I have four children, with four spouses and five grandchildren between them, so one day of everyone together is nice to see - but it also makes me tired and I appreciate the next day, when I can be alone!
