Well I don't know if I like being likened to a baying hound, and I too have had to take an awful lot of personal abuse, as have several other people on here, from certain members of this site. So you can understand why I can be a bit wary, but hey ho....we all make mistakes.

Trouble is we had the weekend with the lister and that may have rattled a few people.

Well I've looked back over the thread, I can't see a row, or anything really 'flaring up',

Isn't everyone making something out of nothing here?

I understand where Uggers is coming from re.name changes. That's the very thing that has caused the most trouble on the boards, but usually that's because we know just who it is behind the name, and they are denying it! It's difficult with the constant name changing for more sinister purposes to then trust completely someone who does it for 'privacy', though a board name offers privacy anyway, your number remains the same, so you can be easily identified by anyone who is inclined to do so.


All I said was I'd found LMJ ok and saw nothing to suggest otherwise, and now I feel as though I've said something wrong, and caused problems. If so then I apologise, I misread the situation as a bit of banter, rather than all out war.

I don't think Uggers meant it as a personal slur LMJ ...I didn't even know you had changed twice since we last spoke, lol
but you've seen what it's like here now with people changing their names three times a day ( yes literally) ..we are all wary that we are going to end up speaking with people who are just ready to pounce :(

Certainly not Rose, but then they always give themselves away sooner or later. I honestly don't recognise HWF or LMJ or whatever, though I'm sure I've probably spoken to her before.

No I know Jill... but I actually didn't see the name change either, nor in fact the one where she went to housework fairy... and had to look to see.

I speak as i find with people , but by the same token I don't want to talk to someone I don't like just because for once they are putting on a 'polite ,pleasant front' under a different name ..haven't we all fallen into that particular abyss? You wouldn't want to be having a laugh and joke with ' miss smiley' who seems lovely and then find it is our dear list maker would you?

But to be honest Rose, none of us change our names very often - if at all in some cases. (I mean Hayley has been empress of drama for like, forever!). And LMJ did announce her name change the other day. She's not hiding it or using a different account or anything.

But have we rattled Uggers? Do you think he got out of bed the wrong side and banged his head on the wall?

Well I've no idea who it is, but I'll speak as I find, and she's been fine with me.

I think Uggers is right ... ( I do really I'm not sucking up ...so to speak lol) I wasn't sure who it was , though it niggled at the back of my mind that I should know... which I do. And she is quite ok, and had good reason to change her name originally.

But it does lead to confusion, and me having tokeep that page of numbers that I was going to throw out...and keep all the old contacts so I can see who has changed their name again...

Sue it's nothing to do with your joke and I never mind your sense of humour as you well know but I am surprised at the level of hypocrisy on here, a bit pissed off and gone.
