Morning girls,

I am sorry to hear you've been poorly Lynne, wishing you well with lots of (((HUGS))) xxxxx

It's a beautiful day again in Coleorton, looks like Wimbledon will get some good weather for the tennis this year :)

I'm waiting for my qvc parcel :) couldn't resist the 'Cinch' last week, I don't buy very often from there now, but that will come in very useful for memory books & the like, can't wait to have a play.

Have a good day all, speak to you soon xxx

Sylvia, sounds like you have been very busy this week!! It is turning very cold in the evenings here as well.

With it being fathers day I have all the kids and grandkids coming for dinner tomorrow, so will be busy.

I have just received an email from Lynne, unfortunately she has been in hospital for the last 5 weeks with pneumonia, she apologises for not having been in touch and hopes that she is up to date with her cards to you all. I have told her not to worry and I am sure that we all wish her a speedy recovery.

Hi all,
Where oh where has this week gone to? I've been rushing around with my scootmobile to the physiotherapist. She has been massaging my legs and today I had a machine on them.
Managed to finish my neighbour's card she asked me to make for her and when she picked it up last night she took 6 more of my cards, so there's my stock gone again!
Johan had to be screened today for his driving licence renewal. When you get to 85 they want all sorts of information about you. I supose he will hear in a few days whether he is ok.
We have Father's Day here on Sunday so I suppose I had better bake an apple tart. I made some bread yesterday evening as was too busy overday.
We are still having the central heating on in the evenings.
Have a nice weekend, sylvia xxx

Evening everyone, hope you are all OK, back from looking after grandchildren, exhausted but had a lovely time. Think all the animals took more looking after than the 3 children.

Tomorrow hope to spend some of the day making cards need to get quite a few made still thinking of what type of Christmas cards to make this year would love something very different, but not sure what.

Take care
Hugs Joxx

Thanks Heather, yes had a lovely time and there is a great little craft shop in Bridport and another one at Broadwindsor craft centre. Then on the way back there is the Paper Mill shop at the Clarkes village outlet centre so I did very well. Not had time to use any of the stuff I bought yet though as the garden has had to take precedence.

Silvia, sounds like you both had a lovely time and at least the weather was good for you it has been awful here. Sorry that you have come home with a cold and sore throat and I hope the doctors manage to sort out the fluid on your legs, it can be very uncomfortable.

Hope Ann is OK have not seen her around for a while.

Hallo all,
So now back from holiday. The boat was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the volunteers on board. You could have help with washing and dressing etc.etc. It also gave the partner a break if you needed to be fed. I didn't go off the boat but lots of others did in wheelchairs. Johan made use of this offer in Antwerpen, but I was happy enough to be able to relax on deck. We had wonderful sunny weather. The only thing wrong was the air conditioning on the boat which caused me to develop a throat infection and cold, but that is getting better slowly.
I am now having trouble with too much liquid in my legs (don't know if that is the English word but you will know what I mean). They will probably start with lymph drainage next week.
Will keep this short and until the next time
Sylvia

Jill, have a lovely time at the Craft Barn and the hotel, hope you manage to buy lots of lovely goodies.

Weather here has also been very stormy and is still raining!!! typical UK lots and lots of mixed weather, still wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Have just finished my ATC's for this month quite pleased with them for a change.

Good morning to you all.
Been a hectic weekend as had a large card order to get ready plus make sure all of June birthday cards ready and in the post.
We were at French friends Saturday for a meal then yesterday it was a golden wedding celebration and a champagne do.
The storm on Saturday was right over head and set our phones off before power went down, still, we needed the rain.
I set off for the UK on Wednesday and next weekend is the Craft Barn do, cannot wait as also meeting up with 12 members of a crafting forum and we are all staying over in a hotel nearby. Will be lots of fun :)

xx Jill

Jo , the Big Bite is very useful and it goes through several layers like butter. My fave MS has to be the three dots as this goes through my pearlescent card , some of the more fancy ones need a little lighter card. I don't know if you have seen my blog but there is a card on there using the punch on all sides of the card front and back and on the corners of the fold. Need to remember which wing gets folded in for this but once done its easy.

Hope everyone's keeping well and enjoying some sunshine

xx Jill
