Ann, I have had several enquiries but the minute you tell them how many are in the group they don't want to be sending cards to so many!! As you say 28 is a nice number.

Hi all
Glad you enjoyed your time with the grandchildren, hope the animals are as well behaved next week, you are much in demand!!!

Sylvia, hope it has cooled down a bit for you there as it has here.
I bet there was gloom and doom there after the football result on Sunday.

Sorry that Jac is leaving us, we seem to lose members and don't recruit any new, strange isn't it. Still there are still 28 of us, plenty of cards to make!!

Hope all are OK

Evening.
Well the grandchildren have gone home and I can honestly say I have a lovely time with them and not too exhausted. Having a rest next week as going to spend the week at other daughters to look after her garden and all her animals whilst she is on holiday. Normally would have all the animals here, but this year they have one of the ponies at home in the paddock at them moment so it will be easier for me to move in for the week. Will be strange being there on my own but will at least have the dogs and cat for company. Might just take my dog as well!!

Sylvia sounds like a good idea to book another cruise as you had such a lovely time on the last one.

Well the weather here has broken and it is cool and today we have had so much rain, still the garden certainly needed it.

Hope everyone is keeping well.

Hallo all,
What a heatwave. I certainly am not doing much this weather. I managed to buy a Cuttlebug machine on internet so can sit in my hobby room under the ceiling fan and play with my new toy.
The only commitment I have is twice a week at the physiotherapist at the moment.
Thank goodness football is over as I was sick of all the noise that seems to follow football supporters these days. Tooters, drums, you name it they have it.
Am trying to book another boat cruise for Johan and I, perhaps in September, which will be nice before the winter sets in.
Thinking of you all, love Sylvia xxx

Must admit I rarely by tri fold as I prefer to put the backing on myself find it sits better depending on what is in the apertures.

where would they be without Mums eh? I am sure you will enjoy having them, pity it isn't in the school holidays really, although it makes it easier in a way when they are at school it is such a tie having to deliver and fetch them isn't it? Have fun anyway.

Evening everyone, hope you are all keeping well and happy.

Have 2 grandchildren coming to stay for a week tomorrow, daughters partner won a holiday to Italy at work and as it is a business trip they cannot take the children so they will be nice and relaxed when they return and I will be exhausted. Still at least one is at school during the day, but it is quite a round trip for me to get her there and back.

Weather is a little cooler today, but for me it is just right, wish it would rain a little to save me having to water all my pots!

Take care

Sorry ladies not been around much as having terrible problems with my internet connection, been down on and off most of the week, such a pain. Not done much crafting this week, have spent most of the time looking after various grand-kids and one daughter was helping at the scout camp and other daughters close friend was found dead, was quite a shock for her and she has spent a lot of time with his parents. So no crafting for me. I am going to have a quiet day today and plan on watching the Christmas crafting on C&C and might even make some cards!! Daughter bought me the bundle offer that was on QVC for the Martha Stewart punch around the page double loop and daisy fan deep edge punch, love them.
Jill sounds like you had a lovely time buying lots of lovely crafting goodies.
Sylvia free days are precious time and we need to take advantage of them!!

Weather is still lovely but not as hot yet today, which is nice.

Have a good week all of you.

Hi all,
Yes, it's me I'm back. I find the week goes by so quickly. I'm so tired that when Saturday comes and I have no appointments I don't wish to go anywhere at all. My neighbour from the Red Cross invited me to the town last Saturday to their open day, but I just wanted to stay at home - and I did. I am having this physiotherapy on my legs twice a week and then other appointments in the week so look forward to a day at home.
I have now bought myself a cuttlebug. I have been going to buy one for ages, but the high cost of the cuttlebug was rather offputting, but Johan told me to order one as it is a hobby and we don't go out so much as we used to. I am looking forward to receiving this, which should be next week sometime.
What fantastic weather we are having at last. We were still having our central heating on until two nights ago. Now I need my ceiling fan on when I do my ironing.
I must catch up and get some more cards made as my neighbour took 8 cards from me again.
My youngest daughter will be 50 next week and she is on a luxury cruise with her husband. She has never taken so many suitcases on holiday before. They have to dress up for dinner every evening. The money she spent on a ball gown was enormous, not to mention her husband's dinner suits.
Now everybody enjoy the weather whilst it lasts.

Good evening to you all and hope everyone's keeping well.
Very hot over here so nicer to stay indoors and craft plus play with all my new goodies. Had A great time in the UK and there were some great demo's showing lots of new stuff so of course I had to buy lots :))
Suze Weinberg was a joy to watch and she created some lovely works of art using wax on wood and I was lucky to receive one from her and have posted it on my blog.
Have some new Paper Artsy, Marianne and Tim Holtz dies for my cuttlebug and the flower die from Paper Artsy makes beautiful built up flowers in paper or 10 second metal. As you can tell I am full of things I want to try out :))
xx Jill
