Thought it would not be good for me to post 3 back to back!!

Vertigo is not good at the moment so not spending much time on the computer.

Weather is awful, but then I would imagine it is for everyone else, it is so cold here this week, at least a couple of days of sun, but today is rainy.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Thought I would rescue our thread from near oblivion.

Getting near the end of my card making now, about 140 made this year. I have made several using some nice pieces from last years cards so i feel virtuous recycling. Hope people don't think they are getting second hand cards though..
Have to start on Grandsons scrap book soon or that wont be finished. thank goodness for Amazon for Christmas shopping or none of it would get done.

What horrible weather we are having at the moment cold, very wet and windy, hope you are all keeping nice and warm, apart from Christine who I should imagine is nice and warm anyway! Still not started my Christmas cards, really must get a move on or can see I will be doing them Christmas Eve!!

Hope everyone is keeping well.

So pleased to see that you finally made it back to us Sylvia!!!!

You seem to be very busy again at the moment back to your cooking which always sounds so lovely especially the bread and cakes you make. I have stopped making bread as I found I was eating too much, just couldn't resit it when I had made it, no will power!!

Well it isn't raining today but is overcast and not very warm, still not bad for November. Had no halloween callers last night, but while I was visiting my sister she had so many she ran out of sweets and chocolate and had to give them packets of crisps. At least they were all dressed up and the little ones looked lovely most of the parents were dressed up as well, some very unusual outfits!

Hope everyone is OK and keeping warm

Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah, I've managed it once again. Thanks girls for nudging me up.
I've been doing some more cards today as it's quite an effort if I want to go out as the lift maintenance men are installing a new lift which means I have to walk to the other side of the flats to use their lift. On Fr iday I sent Johan out shopping, but I prefer to do my own shopping.
My granddaughter phoned to say she is coming on Tuesday evening and having dinner with us. It will be lovely to see her again.
My eldest daughter who is in south Africa at the moment seems to be having a wonderful time and will have lots to tell us when she gets home.
The weather is cold, wet and miserable at the moment.
Our garden centres are advertising their Xmas goods already.
I actually baked an apple/cinnamon cake today and also a dark brown loaf of bread. Getting back to normality slowly but surely!!
Keep well everybody and for those who are sick get better soon.

Evening Ladies just back from a week in Cornwall. Unfortunately some idiot hit my car on the way down typical boy racer, torrential rain and we are stationery on the motorway and he did not notice my braking or hazard lights hit me straight up the back pushing me into another car, luckily no one was injured just damage to three cars!! Still did not let it spoil our holiday.

Hope everyone is keeping well.

And no I still have not started my Christmas cards!! Like you Ann I have loads to make, still will get stuck in soon.

Heather hope your hubby is recovering well after his surgery, unfortunately most men do not make very good patients!!
I will be sending out a mail regarding the cards received by Flo and Lizz tomorrow. Enjoy your day at the NEC.

Take care

Evening ladies,

Sylvia, hope you continue to get better x

Sorry I don't get on here much, mobile internet is not the best where I live :(

Had a few busy weeks looking after hubby after his op (tightening of the top of his stomach, to stop reflux), he is getting better, but whole new different way of eating, which the consultant has said will take months to get used too. But his quality of life is so much better has he now gets a full nights sleep.

My craft friends christmas cards are done, thank goodness.
I'm off to the NEC next Thurs with my cousin, just to have a look at new products and more than likely spend too much :) it's a day out, so looking forward to it.

Anyway will post again soon, take care everybody, hope all of my cards have been received,

Heather xx

I have made over a hundred so far, all different and mixed but all I am afraid fairly simple. With so many to make I don't make time consuming ones. This year I have used some bits from last year's commercial cards as well, it saves money, recycles and they are too good to waste.

Sylvia so pleased to see that you are back with us. It is lovely to hear that you are not falling any more, must be a big relief to you and Johan, still I can understand him worrying about you falling after he has gone to bed. Hope that your cystitis clears up soon, although I know it has been an ongoing problem for a while. I am sure the ladies whose birthday you missed will not mind, as Ann said you are normally so efficient and get the cards in early. I will put your message on the other side for you about the cards.

As usual I have not thought about my Christmas cards yet, will have to get a move on soon to get them all done.

Hello Sylvia, pleased to see that you have got on again. I wouldn't worry about missing a few birthdays, I am sure the people concerned wont mind, you are usually so diligent at sending them out. And you will be busy with christmas cards like the rest of us I am sure. I am glad you are not falling now, hope you continue to stay well, and hope you can get rid of the cystitis which is a miserable illness.

Hallo girls,
Thank you all who helped me get back on this th read. Whatever you did I don't know but tonight I managed to get on without any bother.
I think my spells of falling seem to be over and I have no black and blue bruises any more. Johan is still frightened of leaving me alone, especially if he wants to go to bed before me, he insists I go too. I can sleep better with my mask too. Just wish my cystitis would go.
Please forgive me for not sending birthday cards this last few weeks. Please drop me a line if you have not had a card and I will send out cards for the last two months. I also forgot my sister in law's birthday, so must do that card soon.
I have made a few cards for my neighbour. She asks for one card and then sees what I have made and buys them all, so I can begin all over again.
I see that our shops are already beginning with Xmas goods .
Next time will write more. Sylvia xxx

Hope everyone else is OK
