Liked the poem Stella, thanks for sending....I'll have to see what I can scribble down again soon, I think I may have received a couple of offerings from some of you....don't want to lag behind lol!
Loved getting the photos, it is great to put a face to a name, whether we like our own mug shots or not lol!
Mine was taken last August in Beddington Park, we had a barbeque to celebrate one of my grandsons birthday.

Might help but a notebook in the loo wouldn't as I don't put the light on, it shines straight into our bedroom. Life is complicated isn't it?

TeresaW Report 13 Jan 2010 21:34

A trip to the loo might help though LOL

I don't think i would be very popular if I tried to write something in the night though. My OH has very acute hearing (unlike me Lol!!!) and would be immediately awake at the scratch of a pen.

I have notebooks every where. One in each handbag, one by my bedside, one next to me in the living room. You never know when Ideas may come, but they can go just as quickly unless you write them down.

You dont' have to write much, just enough trigger words to remind you.

Ann is so right Joy.... you need to keep repeating the idea to yourself whilst rummaging for a pen...lol

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 13 Jan 2010 20:46

Joy Lol!!! You should have written it down. Worst thing is when you have an idea in the middle of the night. You can guarantee you will have forgotten in the morning.

Stella received it and liked it thank you.

I, too, am what you see is what you get; some don't like it, some don't believe it and think I have hidden agenda; however, I have never had any hidden agenda - I never see any point in that sort of behaviour. People that really know me would verify that.

I had an idea earlier about something to write about, it's gone now, drifted away :-)

Look forward to it Stella.

Sophisticated me? Nope wouldn't know how to be. And you all look so young to me too.

That's it, we'll have to get together Rose one of these days. You'll see I'm far from sophisticated, either in the posh sense or the literal corrupt sense lol.

I'm a WYSIWYG really. Take me as I am.

Rambling Report 13 Jan 2010 20:29

lol I don't mean to imply that you are all NOT sophisticated ...just that you're not 'intimidatingly sophisticated' ... ( frets, do I have an inferiority complex ?)

xx

TeresaW Report 13 Jan 2010 20:27

I don't know if I should be pleased or offended at that Rose PMSL

Ultra-sophisticated.....lol I haven't got a sophisticated bone in my body...Although I have been told that I speak rather Posh.. lol
I don't think I do but... xx

Joy Report 13 Jan 2010 20:11

We are am-a-zing? :-)

All look very nice.

Rambling

Rambling Report 13 Jan 2010 20:08

LOL do I Teresa?

I have to admit I thought you would all be ultra-sophisticated and very much like the slightly mature ladies one finds retailing perfume in fancy department stores.... ;0

Does anyone remember that sketch of Victoria Woods where she imitated someone like that, " and todays perfume is Cach..e...rel"... there is a 'greeter at the supermarket who sounds just like that and it cracks me up every time lol

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 13 Jan 2010 20:00

That's very true. Only Rambling Rose slightly resembles my image of her...the rest of you are nothing like I imagined, better in fact.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 13 Jan 2010 19:55

Yes I agree Posh, very true.
