Send them out Ann, it's all practise.

In fact, I did write one this afternoon, more of a muse than a poem, I'll send it on.

And it was brilliant BC...... and sad, you are not intending it to be used just yet are you I hope???

Teresa, it is very strange isn't it. I have always enjoyed writing and I suppose it is having somebody to write for. There didn't seem any point before. Still not sure about poetry though. I have a couple more if anybody has time to read them. (short poems)

Brilliant Ann, it was only two days ago that you said you couldn't think of any ideas, now you've got them coming out of your ears. Why? Because you've got your writing brain into gear by exercising it. How? By writing.

simples.

I am happy with doing it as we are doing but like TW I will go with the majority. And I am having fun too, except my brain wont stop thinking up things to write about.

Jane, write this down...

to copy and paste from a word document (your writing) into an email..

1. open an email ready to send.

2. open the piece you want to send.

3. drag your cursor, the little arrow, over all of the writing you want to copy, so there is a big blue line through it all. (Highlighted)

4. right click on your mouse to open a menu, and click on copy.

5. go to your email and click where you want the writing to go

6. right click your mouse for the menu and select paste. click on it and VOILA!

BC, I'm happy with doing it via email especially as we are all pasting our work directly into an email now. But if others prefer to use google, then that's fine by me. I think the risks of copying into the email itself are minimal though. We're only passing it among friends, and it was said earlier, we have to trust one another, and assume that nobody will pass our work on, or pass anything nasty to us. It just won't happen. We all have anti virus on our PC's, or we shouldn't be using them. :-)

But I'll be more than happy to go with the majority, makes no difference to me as long as the group keeps going, because I'm having such fun now.

So sorry if I haven't answered some of your emails but my computer is running very slowly so have been advised not to open any attachments.

Is anyone interested in using Google Docs for our writings, it is totally safe, can upload and convert any type of file, and it means we could all share our stuff very easily. It's just an idea if you would like to have a look at it, just Google (lol) Google Documents.

Now am going to try and catch up on what I have missed:-) X.

AnninGlos Report 17 Jan 2010 17:09

Or I do it by holding the cursor over the first line depressing the shift key and hold down while running the mouse over the writing. This hilights it. I then go to edit, copy, go to the e mail place the cursor in the body of the email, go to edit again and click on paste.

Rambling

Rambling Report 17 Jan 2010 17:04

Bridget I just C & P by running the mouse over the writing while holding down the left button which hilights it in blue, press Ctrl and C then paste it in by pressing Ctrl and V , where ever I want it to go.

OK everyone, I will admit to being a complet nerd so how do I cut and
paste to the main part of my email???

Thank you everyone for your feedback, I am delighted wit the response, maybe I really will do a course on writing, it would have to be on line though. Anyone have any experience of this?

Bye for now, happy writing
