I will confess I've never read 'Catcher in the Rye' though always meant to. Something I will have to catch up with methinks.

I've sort of done my set piece,but I haven't done much of anything else so far. Busy listening to Blair at the moment...(getting in the frame of mind for a bit of fiction maybe? hehe)

this Bulgarian lodger sounds intriguing lol

So JD was a good age... though seeing his DOB just brought it home to me that if my mum were alive she would have been 90 this year ... doesn't time go fast !

I've been at the house painting most of the day Ann, just got home and slumped, Jacket potatoes in for tea...and I might run the hoover round...then again I might not lol.

I must get down to the next chapter which is half written.

I have not done anything today, spent all afternoon tidying this room whci doesn't really look a lot better than when I started.

Hi Ann, I have done a poem for the set piece, but I sent the first part of a story out to a couple of people ( written ages ago ) so i decided to finish it and actually have something 'complete ' to send out for once lol.

On the other hand...just realised that something else I wrote, though not designed to fit the 'set piece' DOES fit it ..might send that out instead....

i scribbled a piece of prose to read at the writing group i go to, and then a poem about the same subject but it turned into something else and i don't think i could read it out in front of the men...lol

I scribbled yesterday evening but not done any today. Spent the last 2 hours watching Midsommer Murders.

I was up late last night scribbling a very personal poem...which seemed to go on forever.

I will get going, but it's soooo cold in my writing space at the moment lol

Are you all scribbling ladies? 2.30 am I turned off the light lol
