Jane Report 1 Feb 2010 21:34

Give me a few days to see if I can write it .(Fingers Crossed).

Jane Report 1 Feb 2010 21:30

I will still be here Ann,for sure.I shall have a think about what I would like to write.I know what I want to say ,but it is putting it in the right way.

Jane, there's no pressure on anyone to do anything, least of all rush something. It's one of the reasons I suggested we send out once a week, we were all getting snowed under.

Take your time, write from the heart, not from the clock, and you'll get there. Don't worry about commenting on others until you feel ready. xx

Jane I am sure it would be fine, although you'd need to check in occasionally to let us know you are still there. I originally signed up as a non writer but with a lot of encouragement I have found that I can have some input. Why not jusy have a go at what you are thinking about.

I am enjoying it all.But am having trouble catching up with you all.
I feel bad because I am not commenting on a lot.Would it be OK for me to still be on the thread to read everything even though I don't have a lot of input.I have something in my mind that I would like to put into words.(and write) ,but as a non writer it may take me some time to do it .

Evening Ladies, I must say I've seen some excellent work this weekend, well done everyone. Hope you're all still enjoying it....

it's just the same for me Ann, i get annoyed with books as i can't hold them comfortably because of my arthritis. Painting is very relaxing , but the light is bad at nightime, might be better when the light evenings come back.

i am nosey too, i don't post a lot but i like to keep popping on to what is happening...lol

Stella I have found it is not just the creative writing that prevents sleep but anything I do on the boards as well. Trouble is I am nosey and if I am awake want to be seeing what is going on. But sleep is more elusive after creative writing or after involved 'debate' on here. It is better for me if I read a book for a while before attempting sleep.

i am glad you find that too Ann...i have tried going to bed earlier but can't sleep but if i come away from my pc and don't write for a couple of hours then i go to sleep straight away. i think my problem is that my creativity works best in the evening...lol

Stella I have found that too, awful when your brain doesn't want to go to sleep isn't it? I was hardly on here last night and had a really good nights sleep.

so far I have scribbled something down on paper while watching dancing on ice. I will type it up tomorrow and amend as I go.

That's the idea Stella, and illustrates what Jill said about reading it a few days later, with fresh eyes.

Yes Rose, I typed one of the opening sentences and just kept right on going...and surprised myself with what I had actually written about!

me too i rattled off a poem straight away, but when i look at it again in a few days i will probably be able to edit it and make it better...i often do that ..come back to my first draft and make changes..

Me too Mau, the first one in the body of the e mail if you can.

TeresaW

TeresaW Report 31 Jan 2010 17:47

Hmmm, just did my set piece for next week, first draft. Where did that come from? I think I surprised myself there.

I've enjoyed reading what I've had so far, but Mau, can you send your piece again, in the body of the email, because I can't open it to read it. The first one that is.
