He's a virgo like me, creativity being at the centre of our characters LOL

He said this morning, there are always crimes to write about, he just has to find the funny side of it, hard sometimes, but he's done it so far.

Congratulations to your BIL Teresa. Writing up to date probably does get harder, but if he has the ideas flowing good for him, more power to his elbow :O)

Well done him Teresa. good to know some new authors get accepted.

Oooh this is so exciting. My BIL has had his first two books in a series accepted by a publisher at last. Borders were very interested and he got as far as negotiating tems of a deal, but they went bust. Now he's found a Canadian publisher to take them.

They are a very very funny parody of crime novels, and I've been in stitches this morning, reading the manuscript he sent me.

He said it's wierd now, he thought it would be 'publish, write some more, publish that' but now he's being set up for radio interviews (local), book signings and everything. Somewhere in all that he's also got to finish the third book, as he has a deadline to complete from the publisher too....and he's overflowing with ideas for more.

Let you know the details when I know the release date. It may appeal to the menfolk more than the women, it's very irreverent and completely ignores PC....but so funny.

Hi Ann, Friday and Saturday were beautiful days, eating outside even in Richmond market place. Thats why Sunday morning was such a shock.
Ah well, I had some much needed sun on my face.

Aw Maggie, we were thinking about you and hoping you wouldn't be snowed under! What a pity but best laid plans etc etc and all those other cliches, so look on the bright side....

You can write a lovely poem about it:-)

Hello...this site has been hard work today. !

Thanks for the set piece Teresa, will do my best :)

Had to abandon my cottage yesterday as awoke to 3 inches of snow and not letting up. Feel a bit cheated really, but at least we are home safe.

Changes on the site Ann, something has gone wrong. Those delete and invalid post messages are appearing after every post.

I'm told of you try to delete your post the whole thread will go...lol

I've emailed them to let them know, they may not be aware of the problems.

Changes are, the buttons up top have had a dropdown menu added, so when you hover over them, all the options drop down so you can click to go straight to the area you want.

Good here innit? lol
