As far as I know she has been OK, I believe once you've had it you are more likely to get it again. OH once had a mild dose but without the sickness, he was alright upright but not laying down, his was probably vertigo. Hope you stay well now Mau.

Hi Ann and Maggie nice to see you both.

Yes it was nasty Ann and very scary, had to crawl on hands and knees to loo ,everything was moving and couldn't keep food or drink down (*wonder if I lost any weight)...seriously though I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It's good to be able to walk straight without looking like a drunk lol......Dr. gave me strong tabs. I felt dopey... ahem yes more than usual ;o)
Hope your Dil has kept well since Ann

Maggie is so right Japanese forms of poetry are very artful , short but rewarding...

Hi all,

just thought I would add a line about Haiku/Senryu poetry. I have had

some feedback today on the Haiku poem I sent out. For those of you

unfamiliar with it, there are lots of websites that cover the art of Japanese

poetry. Just google the name and there are lots of examples

I am but a novice, but enjoy the challenge !

I am the opposite Lynda, I tend to go for people stories with romance and nostalgia but I also like to have descriptive parts (gardens etc) I rarely read crime so inclination is not to write it. My stories are not very commercial though, too 'nice'.

If you're going to write a piece of work, and its not a set piece just something you feel you want to do. What genre do you find yourself writing...is it a romantic love story, crime, horror etc,?

My natural inclination is to write crime/thrillers. My husband often says to me, can't you write anything 'nice', well to me this is nice - it's just the way my head works when writing...lol!

I overslept, only been up 30mins lol. Oh, the shame on a sunny morning like this.

I'd better get off here and do something!

Lynda, I'll send my comments later, I haven't read it all yet :-)
