Maggie,

Can you do anything with the volcano/ash/ruined holidays etc?

Or, I read a piece in the paper the other day about a christening gown that had been used for 6 generations. Could you do anything with that?

doesn't matter if you can't just throwing ideas around.

I hope the op was a success Maggie? Also hope she soon recovers from it.

ooh Chardonnay, any for me?

I think we get a set piece from Teresa on Sundays to do for either Thursday or Sunday Daff.l If we want to do another piece we choose our own theme.

Not sure Chardonnay will help the brain flow!!

Thanks Teresa for the 'Spring' theme, my favourite time of year. To dust off the cobwebs of winter.

Although I am quite looking forward to BC's "Murder in Spring" lol

Glad you all enjoyed the meet !

I am the same Teresa, I know nothing about poetry and it is difficult to think of something to say except...they are so beautiful, one and all.

And thank you all, for your kind comments.

Now 'Spring' eh? *ponders how to fit a murder or two into a story....lolol...

Can I just say, just for this week, that as I know nothing about poetry, but have read them all, I really do enjoy them all. There are some talented poets about, but really I can't say any more than the 'I enjoyed that' comment.

So, although it's a cop-out, I'm going to say here, to all of you who sent poetry, I loved them all.

Stella, your ears should have been burning on Saturday, we were all talking about you and your poetry and how talented you are. It was all good, promise.

*coughs and blushes*

So sorry ladies. I got carried away with other things and clean forgot. lol

Ok, well as we have had such a beautiful weekend, I think your short set piece this week should have a theme.

SPRING.

What does it mean to you? What do you like best about it?

Here's your chance to take us to wherever you are by using some good descriptive prose. Remember to use all of your senses, and build us a picture.
