Maggie , I don't have your blog addy :((

I do think that perhaps this may be more a winter thing? when it gets dark at 4 maybe people are more inclined to write do you think?

I suppose it also depends a lot on whether writing is something that you just would 'like' to do or you 'have' to do... ,if you follow me...I know i have to scribble down poems even if no one but me ever sees them, lol.

Hi all, just nudging this up to ask, has this project waned a little?

I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I have read, and never pretended to know about the technicalities of writing.

As I said earlier, I am now down to 6 people I send my hard written work to,please let me know if you no longer wish to receive it.

I do have a blog on the internet for serious readers of my poetry, as I write more than I send !

No rush Maggie.
BC as you know I do agree with you. We have a list of at least 14 people, we know TW will come back asap and Angela too has excused herself. I am puzzled as to why everybody else that doesn't respond has bothered to join the group. I thought by joining you professed an interest in writing.
Rose, BC, Maggie, Bridget, Mau, Daff (usually), Thank you for always replying to anything sent out. And Tricia, Joy, Sylvia and Helen for occasionally replying. If you really are interested it doesn't take long to rattle of a 'thanks for that' e mail.

Evening all:) ~~~~~~BC and Mau

Yes,it would be good to have at least an acknowledgement. There are a few that I have never heard from since day one!

I have cut down my email list to just 6 now, the ones who do respond.

BTW, have yours to read yet, Rose and Ann, will do so tomorrow !

Afternoon folks:) Is anyone else curious about the list of people we send our writing to and the non acknowledgement or responses? I don't mind scattering my *ahem.. talents willy nilly, but if folks are just not interested in reading our stuff could they let us know. That would be nice.

Over and out;))

Depends on the camera but sometimes photos get saved to the main camera as well as the memory card.

Hi Girls :O)

We have a Kodak Easyshare Maggie, good little camera, can't go wrong taking photos.

Ann my Bil had the memory card in a wallet clipped to his belt,he doesn't know how it came to be lost, as he's always carried them that way.Don't think there's any still in camera.

Hi Mau, just been reading Julia's CAMERA thread on Chat, some good advice there, but may stick to what I know, a Cannon Sure Shot. Bound to be upgraded now. :)

Welcome back Maggie. Pity about your setbacks but glad you've recovered from tummy bug.

My Bil.just back from S.Africa, lost one of his memory cards, all the safari photos. gone!..such a shame.

Awww shame you had some hiccups...being without a camera is awful on holiday, you always see something you 'must' have a photo of.

Wonderful time Rose, thanks, apart from a few little setbacks :( A ferry trip to the island of Tiree was cancelled due to ferry problems, so very disappointed. I caught a tummy bug (or something) and was ill for 3 days but was well looked after !
Then my camera died, so off to the shops tomorrow to replace it. I felt as though I had lost my right arm !

AnninGlos Report 22 Jun 2010 14:19

I might have a go at one of these next week. It occurred to me we can revisit this list as there are a lot of subjects. Probably wont have time this week though as I have my sister staying, can pop in here for short visits but can't really spend a lot of time on anything.

Here are some then:

What if . . .

1. you were too old?

2. the truth was reserved for special occasions?

3. guns sucked in rather than blowing out?

4. it was impossible to keep anything private?

5. you pretended to be someone else?

6. you decided to make up for lost time?

7. you misread the instructions?

8. your editor changed one of your titles, and totally misrepresented what it was about?

9. technology got the better of you?

10. you lived in a famous house?
