Can anyone top this? I have just had an e-mail from OH' s cousin who is 96. He has been out to the postoffice and found it cold even with 2 sweaters on and a coat! I reckon he is a marvellous old boy!. |

Well, still haven't got my car back. It's something to do with the electronic key,and the main garage says it can't do anything till the New Year, but my local one that we use for services etc has phoned around and thinks he can get the part from Anglesey and I may have it back tomorrow. |

Ann, good to see this thread, I don't get on here as often as I used to because of my family also using the computer. I stopped posting except on the Friends & Neighbours thread because of the problems and also because with people adopting "board names" I didn't know who was posting. |

Sylvia, go careful out there if it is still slippery. You should take some photos as it sounds very pretty. Only hope we can appreciate it when we have to drive through it. Not looking forward to the drive tomorrow I have to admit. |

Good morning everyone. Looks absolutely beautiful outside. Will be wearing shades today, the sun is really bright and reflecting off the snow. The trees are still heavily laden and look frozen in time, really like a painting. Not a bit of movement. (Must remember to top up the bird feed). |

Hi everyone this is such a lovely thread that i thought I would join in too. I have been on GR for about two years now but only just started looking at the threads recently. I have recieved some fantastic help from many people on this site which has greatly increased my knowledge of my ancestry so a big thank you to everyone. I now quite enjoy reading the threads every night but never really join so will now make more of an effort too. I live in North Wales on the edge of Snowdonia the mountains look lovely in the snow. I'm in my 40s and have three cats and twins....and I sleep alot! Happy Christmas to everyone, Nadolig llawen a blwydden newydd dda. |

The snow is freezing again and the temperature outside is far too cold for me. I have a thermal vest on, long sleeved top and mohair cardigan, The heating is on and still I am cold, my hands are like ice. I am beginning to think it isnt normal! Both cats are asleep on their favourite beds and have no desire to go out, Why should they when they have got humans trained to shop for them and keep their litter trays clean! |

Evening all, I don't think I have ever properly introduced myself, probably because I am more than a little paranoid about privacy. |
