I'm watching this thread with interest. you have been so brave, I would have had to have been sedated for that many extractions! can't wait to see how you get on when the swelling etc has gone completely |

Right, I was told to keep them in tonight, and not to rinse until morning. So that's what I'll do. |

Teresa, so pleased it's gone ok. Before you tackle the bacon buttie though, do remember that your adhesive will work much better for having 15 minutes or so to settle before you eat or drink. |

Thanks all. I've just managed to eat a jacket spud, though left the skin *sobs, the best bit*, and it wasnt' too bad, but I've bitten the inside of my cheek again. If I keep doing that I'll go back and get them adjusted. |

I used to bite myself at first and I was amazed the teeth 'worked' |

I've used just a couple of little dots of adhesive this morning, and no oozing. I dont' know if it will stay in or not without it, I'll wait until the gums settle a bit, then try it without. |

The soreness is natural and to be expected; dental needles are cruel instruments! Swelling will go down in a few days, too. |

Give it a week or so, and you won't be 'gagging' when you wear them; you'll forget they're there. |

Talking of Taste TW, when I first had this new front plate, It is mostly steel wire frame but I noticed I wasn't tasting so well. I think it was getting used to the wax strip behind the front teeth and I taste OK now, so i am obviously 'tasting' with the back of the roof of my mouth and tongue now. Also maybe your mouth is traumatised by injections which is why youa re not tasting well. |
