We are lucky as I have had no trouble with ours for the 40+ years we have used them.

It won't be good for them when I say what I think of their " service "

Nite nite YG, sleep well and look forward to your long weekend. :-D <3

YG Report 24 Jan 2023 22:12

The problem for me is that I may well not wear my dresses again I ended up putting the outfit that I had for the Royal Garden Party in a charity bag for the BJF, but now wish I had kept the dress.as it would have been ok for one of the evenings. You may find some tops on that website, if you use the filters to narrow down the search.

I am off to get ready for bed now. Two days to go as I have booked leave for Friday and next Monday, so a long weekend coming up :-)

Sleep well :-) <3

Thanks YG, I will have a look. I am split between a dress which I would not probably wear again or a nice top to wear with the posh trousers which I already have.

YG Report 24 Jan 2023 21:02

It depends what you want really, LG. There are some good reductions online and I have spent ages looking. I don't know what style you like so difficult to give you any ideas. If you are looking for dresses, have a look at Scarlett & Jo brand on the John Lewis website. They have some reduced from £90 & £85 to £37 to £45 if you like that style of dress. They are plus size so a bit too big for me otherwise I would have ordered one.

Not away this year, LG. The wedding is in Cyprus in May 2024. I need to spread the cost of everything that I will need, so will keep getting bits and bobs through the year. I'm not sure where on earth I am going to store it all, but hey ho!! As long as i live long enough to go and wear them otherwise I will be very upset :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Bang goes the new lounge furniture and carpet again :-D :-D :-D

The wedding dress sounds lovely even though it sounds as R needed the smelling salts. ;-) :-D :-D.

It was a lovely afternoon, LG. A preview of the new designs being released this year for brides to wear in 2024 and V has picked a beautiful dress. It will be six months before it arrives, then needs a couple of small tweaks. I cant wait to see her in it in the right size, with her hair up.

C has showed her Mum a photo of the dress that she wants (although given it will be a few years yet there is plenty of time for her to change her mind!!)! They are poles apart with their choices, V going for a fitted dress, whilst C likes the more traditional style. I think her Dad is still recovering from the shock of the price. it was almost the most expensive, so their cruise that they were planning for later this year or early next year is now off :-0 :-0 I'm sure he will be very proud and emotional when he sees her on the big day though, even though he makes out that he is not particularly interested in wedding dresses!! :-D

I have just ordered two dresses tonight as we are going for a week so will need some! Its so long since I have been away on a holiday that requires you to be more dressy in the evening, that I don't have anything appropriate. My wardrobe consists of leggings, leggings and more leggings and some cropped trousers for summer :-D :-D
