We are back and hot hot hot :-|. We have just had a bowl of fruit and ice cream which went down well :-D :-D

I can't remember what ours came to, I just pay up and pack it away :-D :-D :-D :-D

Our shopping came to £75 not much but good for the 2 of us. :-D :-D

We are back and no we didn 't enjoy it :-| :-D :-D :-D :-D. At least the cupboards,fridge and freezer are well stocked :-D

The dog we had was very loyal to me and would be at my feet wherever I was in the house or garden.

That was quick Maz, Holly took 3 months to emerge. They do tend to take over places they like to sit and sleep, ours has her own place on the sofa beside me. :-D :-D. She wouldn't go out at first but now she is out most of the time

she is out from hiding ,Playing ,and taken a seat over ,she came with a bed she was supposed to like ,and a few toys she is used to loads of attention .
not an out door Moggie it seems either

We had that with Holly she hid behind our corner stereo unit on top of the wires, not very comfortable :-D :-D.

she is called Molly she has been wandering around during the night as her toys have moved and I heard the floor boards squeak a bit .she has eaten a little too .I am not sure where the hiding place is though .

I know what you mean and it is ok, it is very sad for some I guess.

Someone said to me why are you standing there like that for a scumbag, I said it is still a death no matter who it is.

We always stand still and bow our heads when a hearse goes past us. There was a funeral just up the road before we went away . OH was washing the car and he dropped the hose to the floor and left it until the cars had all passed by.
We are just watching the news about the Southport incident. What a load of scumbags protesting and causing a riot, all fuelled by the damn social media again.

When one of our freinds died recently we stood by our front door out of respect for her until the funeral car had passed.

I don't know anyone who does it now as it is a very old fashioned custom.

I wanted to keep the blinds closed to keep the heat out but hubby didn't because people would think someone has died. Do people still do that?
