YG Report 20 Feb 2023 22:16

Everything is pretty much sorted, V & B are going over at the end of April for two weeks for a holiday and to finalise all the requirements, The dogs are all booked in with a lady not far from M's that boards a small number of dogs as I obviously won't be around to have Poppy, so at least all 3 of them will be together :-) :-)

Apart from that, I just need to keep focusing in getting things I need month by month as funds allow!! Waiting for spring/summer stock to come in and to hopefully get a bit of weight off when the weather warms up!!

It has been a s**t year for us and still not finished yet :-(

YG

YG Report 20 Feb 2023 21:26

That has gone by quickly, LG :-0 What a year it has been though, one way or another :-0 I thought that once we were more or less over the pandemic that things would return to normal! I've almost forgotten what life was like then :-0 :-0

LaGooner Report 20 Feb 2023 21:09

I agree with you on that one. We realised earlier on when we were writing a birthday card for baby boy's fiance that it is one year tomorrow that we moved here. :-0 :-0.

They should have the system set up to put out a voice message 15 mins before they are due to close for the day, advising that no further calls can be accepted, or staff should be expected to finish any call that they are on at closing time before clocking off. When I worked at Sains** we always finished 30 mins after the store closed which allowed time to serve the last stragglers at the checkout and empty the tills.

OH had that happen with British Gas when we moved here. We had no Gas or Electric and needed to top up the meter. We had no cards to do it with so he called them. They cut him off 3 times during the day and then he was just getting through to them about the problem when 5 o'clock arrived and he was cut off as the office closed. We spent the evening wrapped in duvets and with coats hats and gloves as it was freezing with snow on the ground :-|. The next morning they went through hell and finally got us sorted.

I'm ok, LG :-)

Just calming down from another round with BT on the phone and I think he just left me hanging as they finish at 8pm. I was holding while he checked something, but hadn't come back to me after 7 mins, which was after 8pm, so presume I was 'stood up' :-| :-|

Evening Maz, she is very devilish :-D :-D :-D. By normal I mean that she is not hiding away all day, every day. She used to only come out at night after we had gone to bed and would only eat then.

LaGooner Report 19 Feb 2023 17:09

The cat is now 'normal' she has set foot just outside the back door today to air her whiskers and plays like a kitten. The last 2 weeks she has really come out of herself.
But of course you need goodies from the shops to give you the energy to do the washing.
Just realised this is the 91,000 th post on this thread
